"Did you say I am distracting you?" Dev smirked as Sona's eyes widened.
"My god! Was that the only thing you heard?"
Sona mentally facepalmed herself. By the look on his face, she knew that he had no regrets about what he was doing. She knew that she had landed herself into trouble and her only worry was about getting away from it.
But she didn't know that the storm in her life was just starting....

"Look Sonakshi, I don't want to interfere in your personal life but at the same time, I want to tell you that violating the rules and regulations of this university is not accepted." Asha spoke furiously as Sona shuddered in fear. It was the first time she heard Asha spoke so seriously.
"I know Ms Asha but..... it wasn't my fault. I have no idea how he came in.... I am really sorry." Sona spoke apologetically.
"It's ok Sona. But the next time, I would have to take actions against it. Okay?"
"Yea sure..." Sona replied.
Asha looked up to see a defeated expression on Sonakshi's face. She didn't look like the girl she usually was. There was a lot of confusion and sadness in her eyes.
"Do you want to share anything with me Sona? You know.....tell me if there is something bothering you" Asha asked as Sona looked at her sceptically.
"No... there's nothing Ms Asha"
Asha sighed before answering. "Look Sona, you are a bright student. Your grades are outstanding and you have the power to do even better. I really want you to achieve your dreams and goals you have in life. You have travelled from Narela and invested lots of money just to pursue your dreams.... Do you think your parents will be happy with what you are doing here?" she asked with concern as Sonakshi blinked at her.
Happy? They will literally kill her even if they knew that she went to that party yesterday.
"No... actually it's not what you think mam. I don't like anyone... in fact, whatever you saw out there was really nothing. I have no idea why he was behind me." Sona persuaded.
"Hmm... so that singer come model Dev Sharma, has nothing to do with you huh?" she asked with a glare.
"Really Ms Asha.... I don't even like him. I swear he is just following me for no reason-"
"Look Sonakshi. I am not asking you to stay away from anyone you like. My advice was just, don't let anyone distract you from your studies. And......."
"Yea?"
"Dev Sharma is too much of trouble Sonakshi...I am not saying he will harm you but just be careful....... because as far as I know, if he decides on pursuing something, he never steps back!" she smiled sadly before resuming her work.

Sonakshi left the university with a confused mind. She didn't know why Asha told her those things about Dev but she had to agree what she said was true. She needed to concentrate on her studies since the exams were nearing. She was so drowned in her thoughts that she didn't realise that Abhi was calling her for so long.
"Sona!!!" Abhi yelled and Sona flinched.
"Oh god... you scared me Abhi."
"Well.... You were daydreaming and I had no choice. By the way, how was the party yesterday?"
