"Arjun bhai, you go home first. I will speak to Tara and come back." Tarun suddenly said, halting Arjun in his tracks. He looked at Tarun with anger and glared at him.
"What's with you and Tara? Isn't Natasha enough for you? Are you betraying her or something?" Arjun snapped while Tarun maintained his cool look.
"Arjun bhai...... You guys are not accepting Natasha. So what can I do, when a Tara is interested in me?"

Two days passed slower than the crawling tortoise. Before marriage, Dev had always prayed for the time to run slower so that he could finish his heavy workload. But now, he would give anything to make the time run faster and stay by Sonakshi's side. He missed her more than anything in the world.
He didn't know how Sona walked this deeply into his heart. He had always placed a safe barrier for his emotions, so that no one could watch the vulnerable him. But now, Sona was slowly breaking it and making him feel things that he wasn't used to feeling. Honestly, he was genuinely scared for feeling such things. He was afraid of letting his guards down.... He didn't want to face any more heart breaks in his life.
If any cruelty happens to his close ones, he would definitely be broken. Broken to an extent that he wouldn't be able to mask those pain inside him anymore.
One more day passed with great difficulty, for both Sona and Dev. Arjun had to postpone his works and tight business meetings to stay with Sonakshi most of the times. He didn't want to let Sona out of his sight as he still expected threats to Sona from Natasha. But that was where he went wrong...
Because Natasha's threats were not physical any longer.
Tara had been a great help in the meantime. Despite Tarun's flirty talks, Tara still came to the hospital and helped Sonakshi with the assignments from school. She even recorded the lectures and gave it to Sona to learn it during her free times. Sona was so touched by Tara's gestures. She continuously felt indebted to everyone around her. Arjun had ignored Tara most of the times as he didn't want to develop any unwanted feelings towards her. Since she was interested in Tarun, it was best to leave them alone. At least Tarun was better off with Tara than Natasha.
"Hey thanks a lot Tara. I wonder what I would have done without you!" Sona sighed as Tara just smiled and tucked the pen inside her ear.
"Don't worry... Even at home, I don't learn this well. By coming to this hospital, I feel like my revising skills have improved. By teaching you, I learn better! So keep your thanks with you." Tara waved dramatically, making Sona chuckle.
"Okay grandma, time to leave. Do you want to leave by yourself, or let me carry you?" Arjun walked in while Sona glared at him.
"Touch me and I will cut your hands." She warned, making Tara smile as well. But Arjun didn't even face Tara as he was busy carrying the wheelchair for Sona. After helping Sona to sit in the chair, Arjun brought her out of the hospital while Tara helped her sit inside the car. Tara felt a little disheartened at Arjun's silence, but she just brushed it off and accepted that it was nothing between them. Yes, he was just Sona's friend.... Nothing else.
When she was turned to leave, a sudden message alerted in her phone. It was from her cousin Anuja again.
'Hey babe... check the news today! Your eye-candy is scandalized in it'
Tara: What are you saying? When?
'Today morning. Go and check the news Tara..'
Quickly placing her bags on the bench nearby, she unlocked her phone and scanned through her daily news app. The third news on the celebrity page shocked her. Her eyes widened and she stood frozen like a doll for a few seconds. Looking at her left, she could still see Arjun folding the wheelchair and placing in at the back of the car.
