"And what will I do?" Sona asked curiously.
"That's up to you." Asha smiled and stood up. Picking up the coffee cups, Asha looked around and smiled at Sona's confused expression.
"Just remember one advice dear. One smile can start a friendship. One word, can end a fight. One look can change a relationship. One decision......can change your entire life"

Knock knock...
"Why are you still here?" Asha opened the door and looked at Dev who has been stubbornly knocking on the door for the past ten minutes.
"I want to talk to Sona."
"Tell him that I will talk to him tomorrow maa" Sona shouted from inside. Dev's eyes widened as he heard her statement.
"That's so childish.... Maa, I can't believe that you are supporting her in this." Dev shook his head in disbelief.
"Support what? I am not supporting anyone. I can't chase her away if she requests to sleep with me. You know what? When she's calm, she will eventually return back. Until then, don't bother knocking on my door again." Asha sternly showed her forefinger at him, motioning him to return back to his room.
"Maa" Dev whined as he crossed his arms over his chest and stood firmly at the door.
Stepping out of the room, Asha sighed tiredly and closed the door behind her. "What's up with you Dev?"
"Maa, you know... your daughter in-law in getting out of hands. She is getting frustrated for no reason. She and her stupid mood swings! And you.... You are letting her stay here? Are you my mother or hers'?" he asked with a frown on his face.
"Well, it's true that I am your mother. But I am also like a mother to Sona, right? What do I do if she comes here upset? I can only console her. Do you want me to chase her back to your room? That's unfair and mean..." Asha stated with a helpless face.
"But maa, at least you could have advised her right?"
"Tell me one thing Dev... Sona has lived with you for quite some time. Not once she came down like this with a foul mood. Whatever fight happens, it only happened between the four walls. But now, if she is suddenly moving out, then I am sure there's something huge which is upsetting her. Instead of making a fuss, you should give her some space."
"Space? You thought I don't give her space? All I did was give her and myself some fucking space! And here, she's acting like I have abandoned her like altogether! Do you know something? My world doesn't revolve around one person! She has to suck it up if it's bothering her. This is me and my nature. I can't change for her... She has to accept it when I am quiet, pissed, angry or secretive!" Dev yelled, making Asha's eyes widen.
"Why are you shouting? You know....she might hear what we are talking." Asha shushed him.
"LET HER HEAR! That's the purpose" he screamed even louder, making Asha furious.
"I think that's enough. Go back to your room and we shall talk in the morning!" she shoved him away.
"MAA-"
"Yea I get it. I totally get what you are saying Dev. You will be who you are, and she doesn't have the rights to question you.... Okay I get it!"
"Maa, it's not like that." Dev defended himself.
"Then what? You expect her to be understanding.... But are you understanding her in the first place? She's been trying to tell you something..... and did you listen to her yet? You can get angry, but she can't? You can be secretive, but she can't?" Asha bombarded her questions to Dev with full force, taking him aback by shock.
