My New Doctor

Chapter 6

Z - Zayn

H- Harry

E- Ella

Ella's POV

Z - "Ella sweetheart I know this isn't nice for you but all we want to do is help you, we don't want to hurt you in any way at all" Zayn was knelt down in front of me with his hand on my knee

E - " Go away! I don't want you to help me!"

Z - "okay my love, I know your suffering with earache and a sore throat and you also have stomach cramps, is that correct?"

I nodded my head slowly wiping away the tears that had spilled out and I finally took a good look at Zayn, he looked very normal, too normal to be a doctor almost. He didn't look threatening or scary but the fear brimming inside of me didn't subside

Z - "that's not a problem but you need to let us help you, if you won't let us examine you then we can't find out what the problem is. We don't have to rush anything, we can take things one step at a time okay?"

I nodded in response

"Okay so can you stand up and come over to the exam table for me love?"

Zayn's POV

She reluctantly stood up and made her way to the exam table waiting a moment before taking a seat there. She sat there with the look of pure fear all over her face and her hands were shaking and I knew that if I was to have any luck with her, I need to calm her down

Z- "Ella, I can see that your nervous princess but I'm gonna need you to try and relax for me okay? I want you to take some nice deep breaths in and out for me, nice and steady, just focus on the sound of your breathing, keep looking right at me and breathe with me okay!"

I was stood directly in front of her looking straight at her breathing in and out as I hoped she would do. I stayed doing this for a few moments and I could visibly see her calming down, she was beginning to trust me, however when she realises I can't examine her and Harry will need to I don't know how she will react, I am only a psychiatrist and I am not qualified to perform physical exams.
