Chapter 7

Harry's POV

"Ella, I can see that your nervous princess but I'm gonna need you to try and relax for me okay? I want you to take some nice deep breaths in and out for me, nice and steady, just focus on the sound of your breathing, keep looking right at me and breathe with me okay!" Zayn spoke to Ella in an attempt to calm her down

Even though she was relaxing and listening to Zayn I knew that when I started examining her again she would freak out, I hate feeling so helpless when it comes to this as she is too scared of me to let me help but I'm sure Zayn will work his magic somehow

"Okay I want you to stay as relaxed as you are now for the rest of the exam okay? You have all the control here so if at anytime you want us to stop all you have to do is let us know and we will stop straight away" Zayn told Ella to which she just nodded "now Harry is going to carry on from before and he's going to use the ultrasound machine to find out if you have appendicitis, and I know that sounds really scary but I promise there's nothing to worry about"

I stood up and set up the machine right next to Ella, I gathered everything I needed and I began

Ella's POV

I feel as though I can trust Zayn as he isn't going to do anything to me he's just talking to me, however Harry is going to do an ultrasound and I've never been so scared of a machine before

"Ella I'm going to just press on your stomach again, I'll be very gentle I just need to find the right place to do the ultrasound"

I nodded to Harry as he slowly lifted my top up and began to press about asking if it hurts, when it came to that one spot again I squealed in pain and Harry stopped and apologised but said it was needed

"This is going to be a bit cold my love" Harry said placing the ultrasound machine on my stomach along with some gel, he moved it around for a few minutes and then removed it and wiped all the gel off me

"Well it's not appendicitis Ella which is great news but I would like to run a few more tests to get to the bottom of what is causing your pain, would that be okay with you?"

I smiled in relief before a wave of worry washed over me as I really didn't want more 'tests'. I looked over to Zayn who just smiled and nodded at me before saying "I know you don't want more tests sweetheart but if we can find out what's wrong then we can help you get rid of the pain yeah?"

I guess he's right and I did want this pain to go as it is pretty bad now
