Chapter 37

Harry's POV

The rest of my shift was really dragging but I'm finally on my last patient of the day, a 17 year old girl. I got up and called her into my office "hi my names Harry nice to meet, you can just take a seat for me" she sat down nervously "so what can I do for you today love?"
"I've been feeling really lightheaded for the last few days"
"Okay and are you having any other symptoms?"
"I have a headache and I've kinda ..." I didn't catch the end of her sentence as she turned her head and began to mumble
"Sorry love I didn't quite catch that last past, you've had a headache and what?" I smiled at her reassuringly
"Nothing" she said quietly
"Have you fainted sweetheart? Is that what your trying to tell me?" She nodded gently
"Okay that's fine, did you feel dizzy before you fainted?" She nodded again "do you only faint when your standing or does anything trigger it?"
"I've managed to sit down but if it doesn't pass then I actually faint but I feel like it quite a lot and not just when I'm standing" she nervously
"Okay, do you eat regularly?"
"Yeah I rarely miss meals"
"Okay well I'm going to take your blood pressure first okay? Have you had it taken before?" She shook her head no "okay well there's noting to worry about, I'll just put this cuff around your arm and it'll get tight for a little while then it'll go and I'll take it off okay? Nothing to worry about but I'd just like you to stay nice and calm for me, ready?" I said calmly to which she nodded "okay so I'll just put it on your arm okay, so just relax" I said as I took her blood pressure "okay so it's 100/70 which is slightly lower than I'd like but it's completely normal in girls your age so there's nothing too concerning there, can I just take a listen to your heart now?" I asked and she nodded again so I grabbed my stethoscope and took a listen to her heart "can you take some deep breaths now for me?" She did as I asked and I took a listen to her lungs before moving to her back "is it okay if I just lift your shirt a little at the back?"
"Umm sure?" She replied and turned a little so I'd get better access
"A few more deep breaths for me" I said once I began listening to her back "that's it just a little more, okay thanks love you can just sit back now. there doesn't seem to be anything abnormal that I can find but if like you to come back and have a blood test and an ECG for me just to be safe okay? If you give these forms to the receptionist she'll sort an appointment for you"
"Okay thank you" and with that she got up and left meaning that my shift was now over.

Sophie's POV

So I just finished my shift and I had just over an hour and a half to get ready to go to Harry's. I drive home and took a shower and when I got out I put on some jeans and a blue checked shirt, curled my hair and decided I was ready, lucky cause I only got 15 minutes to get there so I left the house and made my way to Harry's. Here goes nothing I thought to myself as I knocked the door.

Rachel's POV

When Harry came home he told me that Sophie was coming over and that we are having a take away, great I thought cause I was starving. About half hour later the door knocked and I went to go answer it but felt really dizzy and had to steady myself but I got there on my crutches eventually "hi soph, you can come in Harry shouldn't be long"
"Thanks chick" she replied walking in
"Haz!!!!" I shouted up the stairs "what's taking you so long? Sophie's here you snail" Sophie laughed
"And boys say we take ages to get ready" she said
"Iknow, what a cheek" I replied just as Harry came down
"Sorry girls just been checking a few things, hi soph, you look lovely" he said hugging her.
