Chapter 34

Rachel's POV

"Rach, wake up princess" I felt someone shaking my shoulder, i groaned and rolled over. I opened my eyes to see Harry sat next to me, "come on babe, I made breakfast" so I got up and harry carried me down the stairs.
I was greeted by the smell of bacon mainly but then I noticed the plates set out, harry had made us a full cooked breakfast, he put me down and said "Tuck in" while he started eating his. "Thanks haz" I said after finishing
"No problem babe, I need you to go get ready for me okay babe, we've got a lot to do today"
"Like what?" I asked
"Well first your going to come to the office to I check your iron levels, then your going to wait for me to see a patient then we have to go down to the police station so we can give our statements" I felt my jaw drop at the last part and I tried to speak to tell him no but I couldn't "I know it'll be hard babe but I'm going to be there with you so there's nothing to worry about and like I said before you've done nothing wrong so you'll be okay, I promise" he said holding my hand. I smiled and nodded before getting up and heading upstairs to get ready, I actually think I've mastered getting up the stairs on my crutches, it's just coming down is the problem. I got to my room and decided to put my hair up today so I grabbed my brush and put it into a messy bun on top of my head. I then headed for the bathroom to freshen up before coming back to my room to pick my clothes, it was quite sunny so I put on my blue playsuit and a cute silver sandal to match, yes I'm still only wearing one shoe because I can't get the brace into the other but oh well, I sprayed some perfume on myself and headed for downstairs, I bumped into harry at the top of the stairs and do he carried me down "you look nice babe" he said as he put down, "thanks haz, you look okay I guess" I replied giggling to which he just laughed and grabbed his keys, "ready to go?" I nodded and we headed for the car.

10 minutes later we got to the hospital and went straight to his office "sit down chick I'll be right back" harry said before leaving the room.

Harry's POV

I walked out of my office and to the nurses station, "soph" I called over and she walked towards me "hi" she smiled to me, "just wanted to check everything was okay with you?"
"Yeah everything great now, my mother came home yesterday and everything is back to normal, I still can't thank you enough for helping me though"
"No problem love, nice to see your back to your usual self, catch you later yeah?" She nodded and smiled, God she was beautiful.
I headed back to my office grabbing some supplies for Rachel's blood test on the way.
"Right sorry about that babe, you ready?"

Rachel's POV

Harry came back in and set a little tray on his desk and I knew he wasn't going to let me off for this. "Right sorry about that babe, you ready?" He asked putting on some gloves so I just nodded and closed my eyes.
He cleaned my arm and put the tight thing on my arm, "ready?" He asked so I nodded "sharp scratch" so I took a breath in and tried to stay calm as he stabbed me with the needle, before I knew it he was done, I think I'm getting better at this. "I'll go take this to the lab and I'll be straight back okay babe" I nodded and he left yet again.
About two minutes later someone knocked the door and walked in "oh sorry sweetie I didn't realise you was in here, do you know where doctor styles is?" She said politely
"Harry's just gone to the lab he shouldn't be long" I said surprising myself at how calm I was cause I could tell she was a nurse by the way she was dressed
"Mind if I wait here for him?"
"No that's fine" I smiled
"I'm sophie moss" she said sticking her hand out
"Rachel styles"o replied shaking her hand
"Oh so your Harry's sister are you? I've heard a lot about you" she grinned
"Yes I am, what's he been saying now?" I laughed and before she could answer harry walked in.
"Oh hi soph, I see you've met my sister Rachel"
"I have indeed" she smiled back
"So what can I do for you?" He asked
"Right don't laugh but I need you to stitch me up" she said pulling the bottom of her trousers up to reveal a bandage just a over her ankle. Harry just shook his head and told her to sit on the bed while he went and got done stuff.

Harry's POV

I was shocked that Rachel seemed so calm with sophie but I guess she really is getting better at all this stuff. I collected all the equipment I needed and headed back to the room and as I got to the door I heard Rachel and sophie laughing about something but I wasn't sure what it was but it made me smile realising that Rachel had already made a bond with sophie and she seems so relaxed around her. I walked in and they both just smiled at me, "so what happened soph?" I asked and she just covered her face "soph? What you been up to?"
"Right this is going to sound ridiculous but the door flew open and I didn't see it and it hit me in the face and I lost my balance and fell into a piece of broken glass and let's just say the glass won our little fight" she said laughing
"Ah is that why your face looks like that?" I said looking disgusted at her, she slapped me across the arm "your such a bully I swear, Rachel how do you cope with him?" She giggled
"I've got no choice" Rachel laughed and I faked being upset "only joking haz, you know I love you!" She said smiling
"Your all done, don't forget you can't get it wet and everything" I said because she knew everything because she's usually the one telling people. "Thanks, see you later oh and your patient is outside" I give her a cheeky wink and she left.
"Right sorry rach, your iron levels are fine so you can go sit in the waiting room till I'm done with my patient yeah?"
"Okay see you in a bit" she said while walking out.
"Laura grace?" I shouted from my door and a young girl walked towards me "hi Laura my name is Harry and I'm you doctor, would you like to come through" she smiled and followed me in an I shut the door behind her and took a seat, "sit down love, what can I do for you today?" I asked gently
"Um I think I um..." She trailed off. "It's okay love you can tell me, just take your time yeah?" I smiled to her hoping to help ease her nerves. "I think I have a water infection" she said looking at the floor, "okay and what makes you think this?"
"It burns when I pee and I need to go all the time and I feel like I need to go even after I've just gone" she said really fast, "okay love and do you stomach pains?" She nodded "do you feel a bit under the weather too?" She nodded again "okay no problem, it's really common in girls your age so there's nothing to worry about, so is it okay if I just take your temperature and have a feel of your tummy an then if you could try and get a urine sample for me, would that be okay?" She nodded "okay great so I'll just pop this in your ear" she just nodded again "is there any way you could be pregnant?" She shook her head no "okay great, well your temperature is a bit high, so can you just pop yourself up on the bed for me?" She sat on the bed and as I walked over after grabbing my stethoscope I noticed her wiping a tear from her cheek "it's okay chick, I promise there's nothing to be scared of, I'm just going to have a little feel that's all" I smiled and she smiled and wiped the rest of her tears away, "if you could just lay down and relax for me, just pretend your laying in bed yeah? But no falling asleep on me" I joked trying to make her a bit more relaxed. "I'm just going to lift your top a bit and have a feel and all you have to do is let me know if it's painful yeah?" She nodded and I began pushing on her upper abdomen and she seemed okay until I reached the bottom and she sort of winced "was that painful or just a bit sore?" "It's just a bit sore down the bottom" she said quietly "okay that's fine, I'm just going to have a quick listen, are your bowel movements normal?" She nodded "okay great so you can just pop yourself up and if you could go to the toilet and try and do a wee i here for me" I said handing her the test bottle, "the toilets are just out to the left of my office, just come straight back here when your done"
A few minutes later she came back and put the bottle on the desk, it was about half full and I could see she was nervous as she probably thought she needed to fill it "thanks chick that perfect, I'm just going to go over to the sink and take a quick look" I put some gloves on and did a dip test finding that it was very likely it was a water infection, I washed my hands and discarded of the sample before returning to my seat "you do have a water infection and so what I'll do is prescribe you done antibiotics to clear it up and you'll just have to take one twice a day for three days and if it doesn't go within about 5 days Id like you to come back and we can take another look okay?" I said whilst handing her the prescription I wrote up while she was in the toilet. "Okay thank you" she said getting up "no problem love" I said as she left.

Rachel's POV

Harry walked out of his office and over to me "come on then babe" he said and we went to the car. It took us about 20 minutes to drive to te police station and as we got outside I felt sick, I was so nervous and it just made me feel physically sick. Harry noticed I wasn't myself and said "it's okay to be nervous because I know how hard it'll be to relive it again but I know you can do it! You just need to take some nice big breaths and stay calm, come on babe you can do this" I nodded and got out of the car and harry followed my actions and we walked into the station together and I couldn't believe my eyes when we walked in as the first person we saw was........
