Clary's POV
One week ago, I had barely anything to eat and had to watch the love of my life get tortured to the core. But now, I am back at school, Jace and I are the new "it" couple so I do get a lot of glares from others but you know, that's what you get for dating the hottest guy in the school. I make my way over to the back of the class like always but I look longingly at the empty seat next to me which was usually filled by Jon. No one has seen or heard from Jon or Valentine since we escaped so they are still on the loose. Just then I can feel someone sitting in Jon's spot. I look up and see Jace sitting there. He just smiles sadly at me and laces his hand with mine. On the left I see Izzy taking Jace's normal spot, right next to me, and starting to doodle in her book. The teacher walks in and I start to daydream because who pays attention in Math like come on!
