Clary's POV
The next thing I hear is the distant yelling. A man hovers over me. I cower in response. "It's ok Clary, it's ok. It's me. James" he says softly hugging me tightly. "James" I sigh. Then all goes black.

I wake up in a totally new scene, a hospital bed in the institute. "I'm so sorry Clary. We can't save you. He put demon poison into you and you got addicted to it. Like my ancestor James Carstairs. We don't have that type of poison to keep you going. We are going to kill you. That's the only way. I love you Clarissa Fairchild. " James says gravely. I nod and mouth weakly I Love You Too. Then all goes black.

I wake up with a start. In my bed. It was all a dream. I sigh and get ready for school. Today is the first day of high school. But I already know who is going to be new. I think. I head up into the school, and go to my locker. When someone pushes me up against it.
Short chapter I know but I need to keep writing later on. So I'll be sure to at least write once a week.
