frigid under my feet,
i'm scared to walk,
because the shards might hurt me,
and i'm too much of a coward to take a chance.a gamble of injury.
i'm walking on thin ice,
praying it won't break under the pressure of my life.right now, i'm frozen in place,
numb to all the frost that grows.
an entire wasteland of cold,
devouring me,
conquering me.the ice just keeps getting thinner and thinner.
i want to save myself,
but I've lost the bravery.
so, what can i do?I'm perpetually suspended in place,
becoming one with cold crystals.it seems my fate is sealed.
as the world continues,
leaving me behind,
stuck on thin ice.
