Eugene:
One week. That was it. I couldn't resist it anymore. It was like there was a magnetic energy pulling me back to Wisconsin, my estate. It has never happened before, I was used to staying away for months together. But now? All I wanted to do was go back.
My clubs are doing well and my men have done a great job in keeping everything in tact that there was no need for me to stay there any longer. I was heading back with Liam, Hugh and Arton.
I stepped out into the cloudy night, hoping it would make me feel better. But it did not. I've never been so confused in my life. Constantly yearning for something I was not aware of.
When the car pulled into my estate I became restless. The mansion was dimly lit. Everyone must have slept, my arrival was uninformed. But like always Emily stood there with a warm smile.
"Emily, how did you know we were coming?" Hugh asked and kissed her on the cheek.
"Arton called me" she said.
"You did not have to wait till we came" I said and kissed her.
"Why? A mother can't wait for her children now?" she asked resting her hands on her hips.
I did not argue with her on that. She was really caring and kind. She took care of all of us just like a mother would do. Unlike my own mother.
"I didn't mean it like that. Of course you can wait for us. But why sacrifice your sleep?" I asked.
"Trust me, I don't sleep much when you guys are out of town." She said
She was always worrying for us. She thinks one of these times we will not come back.
"Don't worry Emily. We are grown up men. We can take care of ourselves just fine."
She nodded.
"Out of the way, Eugene" Liam said and hugged Emily.
"How are you and the girls?" he asked
"I'm fine and so are the girls. They were busy the whole time and they certainly were up to something this evening" she said.
"Girls!" Liam rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Hey mom" it was Arton's turn.
"Alright boys, you must be tired. Now go and take some rest" she said and went to her room.
"Man, she is a true gem." Liam commented and the rest of us couldn't agree less.
As I climbed the stairs, I became excited. Like this was what I have been waiting for.
I wonder what Tiara would be doing. At the thought of her, my mind flipped. I felt the need to see her. What the fuck is wrong with me? She must be sleeping.
Maybe a peek at her sleeping form can help.
I walked towards her room that was next to mine. I stood outside the door that separated her from me. I could feel the adrenaline rush.
I twisted the handle and opened the door.
Wow.
Where in the fucking world was I? Her room was not like how I remembered. It was decorated with Christmas lights, paper lanterns and what seemed to be empty wine bottles. The lights glittered and sparkled across the entire room.
I looked at the bed only to find it empty. Where was she? I heard the water running in the bathroom. The thought of seeing her after such a long time only added to my excitement.
