Fay!" Both trolls yelled at the same time.

Blinky crawled out of the crevice and rushed towards her fallen body. Aaarrrgghh dropped the platform with a thud and followed Blinky. Fay laid there on the ground with wide eyes.

She didn't know what was happening to her. It felt like a change was coming as she tried to move her hand towards the two trolls. Her eyes droop ever so slightly as Blinky and Aaarrrgghh try to keep her awake.

It wasn't until Aaarrrgghh picked her up and followed Blinky to where Vendel was. Perhaps he could do something about the condition she was trapped in.

The two trolls rushed into the Heart stone with Fay placed in Aaarrrgghh's arms. Vendel looked up to see the commotion and gasped as he saw Fay barely alive in Aaarrrgghh's arms.

Vendel cleared off a table for Fay to lay on. Blinky helped him clear all the stones and crystals off. Fay's breathe was faint as Aaarrrgghh gently set her down on the table. It was almost tempting to not let her go and just hold her there in his arms.

Aaarrrgghh quickly moved away to let Vendel look at Fay as she laid there. She could barely see Vendel as she tried to look up at him. Slowly her vision faded every time someone got close to her. Vendel tried to put some paste on her but it did nothing.

" This isn't looking good my friend." Vendel said to Blinky as he tried a few more remedies.

" Is there anything we can do to help?" Blinky asked Frantically

" Unless you have a book about fairy sicknesses, then no." Vendel suggested as he placed candles around Fay

Blinky stood there, quietly panicking, watching Fay die right in front of him. He had already lost Dictacious. Fay was like his small assistant and family member. Blinky looked towards Aaarrrgghh to see him only turn away in a whimper of helplessness.

Vendel perked up at Aaarrrgghh and calmly led them out of the Heart Stone.

If Fay was going to die, he didn't them to see her die a slow, painful death. As soon as they were left outside Vendel rushed back to where Fay laid.

Fay barely opened her eyes to see Vendel rush over to her. She reached up and managed to touch his arm as he watched her.

" Fay, my dear, what happened?" He asked her with concern

" Ch-cha-change." Fay stuttered before she closed her eyes

" Change? what change?" Vendel questioned her in confusion

But Fay didn't answer him. Silence fell after he had asked the question as he watched her fall into a deep slumber. He had gotten up, trying to think of a way not to alert Blinky, that Fay may have....

No, how could he think of that? Perhaps she's just resting. But if she was resting, why didn't she answer him?

Vendel didn't have time to think, instead he managed to read quickly into his remedy book for any signs of what Fay was going through. He would stop at nothing until he had found a remedy for Fay's slumber.

At some time later he returned to Fay was laying and dropped everything in his hands. There in front of him, was Fay in cased in a crystal, like the one she was in before, when he had first found her. Vendel picked up everything he dropped and returned to the table that held the giant crystal.

He was devastated. How could something like this happen? Vendel stood the in distraught as he heard someone walk in.

Blinky p.o.v

Vendel had escorted us out for some reason. I just only hope that everything was alright but the thought of her.......

It haunted my mind to know that she would not be waking up. After all we are her family.

I look up at Aaarrrgghh only to find him in the worried state he once was.

I could only imagine what was going through his mind as he carried Fay's limp body here.

" Fay okay?" I heard him ask

" I hope she is, Aaarrrgghh." I answer him knowing that in the back of my mind something that could happen to her

I heard Aaarrrgghh sigh heavily. Out of everything that has happened, I can only wonder if he's the one that's hurting the most.

Then it hits me. I need a way to distract him before something else happens.

" Aaarrrgghh, Let's go." I try to say to him casually

" No." Aaarrrgghh argued

" We can't wait here all day, Vendel needs his space to work." I tried to explain to him

Aaarrrgghh looked at me with a frown and sat there on the ground.

I have never seen this side of stubbornness with him unless it was with him eating my books.

Perhaps Fay has really impacted our lives. I can only wonder how big of an impact she really is.

I finally sat on the ground with him. We had nothing else to do except maybe think of more possible ways where we could locate the bridge.

It was some time later when Aaarrrgghh got up and and walked to the entrance. I quickly followed him and tried to stop him from entering.

Vendel could be busy and I don't want us to intrude upon his work. Aaarrrgghh stopped in his tracks as I stood in front of him.

" Let him work." I held out my hands

" But Fay." He stared and pushed me away

I watched him open the door and freeze. I peaked underneath his arm and into the room.

There laid Fay's unconscious body encased in a crystal shell. Vendel's gaze caught my eyes as he walked towards us.

" I'm sorry, but I don't think she's going wake up." Vendel quietly said
