There in the darkness stood an outline of the gray Troll. He stood there, grinning in delight as he brought up the green blade. Somewhere in the distance Fay could hear the terrifying screams of someone she once knew but left. His evil grin haunted her as he took one step closer then one after another. Until finally, he stopped right in front of her with his blade high over her head and daylight in his other hand. Drarkness had consumed her with shadows that tormented her.

Fay squirmed in in Draal's arms as he woke to her sudden movements. He looked down at her in worry as he pulled her closer and began to gently stroke her back. He stopped breathing as a pair of footsteps walked above him. Once they passed he returned to gently rubbing Fay's back. He couldn't understand why he showed empathy towards her but, it was so quiet he could hear her little snores as she snuggled into his chest.

Suddenly a door slammed from above and awoke Fay. She stared at the blue carved stone that laid next to her. She silently traced her fingers across the tattoos until Draal's hand met hers. Fay stared up at Draal as she remembered the memories of last night. The exploring, dueling, and talking that took place. She smiled as she quietly sat up with the blanket around her. Draal watched the small flowers fall from her hair as she sat up.

" You were tossing in your slumber." Draal stated as he too, sat up to face her.

" I had a nightmare." She murmured as she got up and started to fold the blanket.

" I am more willing to listen if you'd like." Draal suggested as he calmly got up

" On my last adventure I came in contact with a gray troll who tried to kill assassinate Master Jim." Fay explained as she set down the blanket and picked up her bag

" You came in contact with Angor Rot." Draal stated as Fay simply nodded

Draal embraced her with a gentle hug as he stepped forth. Leaning his head down towards her ear, he whispered,

" I won't let anyone take you away."

Fay only hummed as Draal pulled away to see her smile. He patted her on the back and led her towards the tunnel to Trollmarket, that he dug while she and master Jim were away. She knew that master Jim wouldn't allow this in his home but she ignored it and continued to walk with Draal.

It was a silent but peaceful walk as they made it to Trollmarket. She could see the humans arriving at the hero's forge. Draal was just about to continue his path when Fay pointed out that the humans were entering the Forge with weapons.

Draal immediately followed them as Fay stood there in a smile. She would have to catch up with them later. Instead she wandered around the market in awe. She passed by a potions shop that had colorful looking potions stored away in the shelves. Her curiosity turned her around and entered the shop.

A little bell rang as she entered, looking around at the shelves that hung themselves. Brightly colored potions reached out towards her as she came close to one shelf.

" Either curiosity killed the cat or you're actually here looking for a changing potion." A troll at the counter spoke

He sat there in cloth as he slowly munched on an apple. His eyes twinkled a sharp red as he squinted at her. His ears slowly unfolded to reveal his pointy ears. Stunned, Fay turned around at his words. She nodded her head, unsure of what to say to the vendor.

" Heh, looks like the cat caught the purple fire fly." He chuckled to himself as he pulled out a vial, " Here fairy, this will turn you normal."

" How did you know?" Fay questioned him as he only smirked and shook his head

" Now, now, less questions more changes. Take this vial and it will be free." He grinned as he scooted the vial towards Fay

Fay hesitantly took the vial as she looked at the liquid inside. There seemed to be berries and a piece of fern swished in with the clear liquid.

" Now, you must take it when it's night time, or else it might not work." The troll said before he licked his lips, " You mustn't tell anyone where you got the potion from, little fairy. Or else I might hunt you down and use you as a special ingredient. Got it?"

Fay nodded before placing the potion in her satchel that she once carried to deliver mail.

" Yes, yes, good now leave and do not tell the Trollhunter or else!" Fay heard him say as she quickly ran out of the shop and into a certain troll.

She accidentally knocked into a running Bagdwella, who was currently carrying a small treasure box. The box slipped from her grasp as Fay managed to catch it in a scramble. The two stood there in a mess as Fay straightened up and Begdwella recollected herself.
