Fay's day out

( my bad, forgot to title it.)

" You ready? Don't worry, it's not gonna hurt." Jim said as he walked into the sunlight and held out his hand

Aaarrrgghh moaned at the sight of Blinky leaving him. Fay quickly caught up with them and stood next to Jim in the sunlight.

" I'm sorry you won't be joining me on this adventure, my friend." Blinky bid farewell as Aaarrrgghh placed his hand on his shoulder.

Blinky faced forwards and took Jim's hand. He hesitated to move his foot forward. Jim pulled Blinky out of the shadows knowing that he wouldn't take the next step. Fay watched as Blinky stood out in the open, ready to be turned into stone. Aaarrrgghh covered his eyes as Fay smiled.

" There you go. See? You're fine." Jim reassured Blinky as he ran out from underneath the bridge

" It's so......bright." Blinky gasped as he looked straight at the sun and took some steps back

" Yeah, well, don't stare at it." Jim said as Blinky rubbed his eyes

" Master Jim, I want to see more!" Blinky said as he ran off with Jim right on his tail

Fay stayed back so she could properly say good bye to Aaarrrgghh

" Keep Blinky safe." Aaarrrgghh stated before he left and the portal closed.

" Will do." Fay bowed before leaving the bridge and catching up with Master Jim and Blinky

She found them on the bridge, walking on the sidewalk.

" I've seen the surface so many times, but never like this.....It's so beautiful" Blinky said as he began to walk backwards into the road

A car swerved by, honking, and a driver yelling, " Get out of the road, freak!" The man said as he threw a can at Blinky

Fay picked up the can and handed it to Blinky. Jim stood off to the side in case anymore cars were coming.

" What a kind gesture. Thank you, stranger!" Blinky thanked as he held up the can, " I was in need of a snack."

" No,no, Blinky, wait." Jim tried to warn but Blinky already tried to take a bite of the can

" Well, that does not taste very good anymore." Blinky complained as Jim pulled Blinky out of the road and back onto the sidewalk

Fay followed behind the two as they made their way to Jim's humble abode. Fay immediately noticed NotEnrique by the door, waiting ever so patiently for them.

" So the rumors are true. I see two humans who were once something else. Eh?" NotEnrique stated as Jim opened the door

Blinky rushed into the kitchen and rummaged through the fridge as Draal came up from the basement. Jim had to explain what had happened as Fay wandered around his home. Soon she regrouped with the guys and watched Blinky as he gathered food from Jim's fridge and set them out on the counter.

" I've never cared much for human food, but... but the flavor! The texture!" Blinky said as ate some frozen peas

Jim glanced between a wide eye Draal and a worried Fay. Knowing that eating frozen peas was probably not the best thing for a human to be eating.

" If only I had two more hands to eat faster." Blinky said as he reached out his arms and wished for his other two arms, " What do you call this cuisine?"

" Leftovers." Jim answered his question

" I can't even look at you. Sure, I can look at Fay, cause she's a beauty to look at, but you? Your whole body is like an old sausage left on the grill too long." NotEnrique said as he pointed at Blinky with a wooden spoon

" Very amusing. Who invited him?" Blinky asked as Fay snorted and had to turn away

" See, she gets it." NotEnrique chuckles

Fay had to leave the room because she couldn't stop snorting and giggling. Finally she stopped when Draal turned around to look at her. She regained her composure and regrouped.

" It's boring sittin' around the crib all day. When I heard about the change, I didn't know it was into a fat, balding, hot fudge sundae." NotEnrique began to laugh with a snorting Fay

Blinky glared at the two as he continued to spray whip cream into his mouth.

" I didn't have time to tell you. While you were seeking the stone, that changeling, Stricklander dropped your mother off outside." Draal reported to Jim

" Yeah, I know. I sorta caught him on the way out." Jim said as angrily squeezed the spoon?

" But maybe you did not see, he..." Draal tried to explain but hesitated, " Uh...Smushed faces with Barbara." Draal sighed as he let everything out

" He what?" Jim exclaimed

" What is the word you use?" Draal strained to think for the word, " Uh, kissed?"

Fay flinched at Master Jim's sudden anger as he placed bowl down on the counter and stared out the window.

" I should have struck him down." Draal said as he placed his metal arm on the counter

" Yeah, you should have." Jim said out in anger before realizing what he just said, " I mean, no. Ugh, no! He has a spell on her. If anyone hurts him, it hurts my mom." Jim explained, " Gah! He's all over my mom. I can't lay a finger on him."

" He's trying to get under your skin, Trollhunter." Draal stated as he placed his metal arm on his shoulder, " Do not let him."

" It's filled with with glop, yet the exterior is so soft and squishy." Blinky says as he uses the ladle as a mirror, " How do they keep it all in?"

Blinky directed everyone's attention on him as his stomach grumbled. And as in reaction, NotEnrique grabbed a cup and tried to listen.

" I think my stomach is trying to communicate with me." Blinky said as he looked down

" That ain't your stomach, pal." NotEnrique said, " After eating a buffet like that, that fleshy inner tube of a body is about to spring a leak."

Everyone watched as a screaming Blinky ran to the stairwell and up the stirs, into the bathroom. As soon as Blinky shut the door and made some noises Jim continued the conversatioon with Draal.

" You didn't happen to over hear who Strickler brought back with him, did you? Some troll with big horns and a weird staff, maybe?" Jim tried to ask Draal

" Sorry, I do not know." Draal cut in his explanation

" Yeah, well, neither do we." Jim said as a car outside began to beep and some keys were jingling

" Ah! My mom's home! Everyone hide!" Jim yelled as Draal grabbed Fay into the basement.

NotEnrique whimpered and froze up because he had now where else to hide. Jim basically pushed NotEnrique into the fridge as Blinky flushed the Toilet. Draal stood right behind her as she tried to listen through the door. She could hear Blinky's conversation with Jim's mother. She tried to lean in more but she lost her balance as she fell forward. Draal swiftly caught her and was just about to pull her back to him, when he leaned too far back and fell down the stairs. The next thing he knew, was Fay laying on top of his chest as he laid on his back.
