NIALL'S P.O.V.

"What are we supposed to do?" I lean down whispering in Charlie's ear.

"You asked for quiet so be quiet." She doesn't even look at me, she can't keep her eyes off the stone is front of us. A small crowd is gathered around the Imagine mosaic. Charlie was right, complete silence aside from the cars that pass in the street behind us.

Some little girl comes running up to the mosaic. She has to be about 6 but she is dressed in a Beatles shirt with acid wash jeans and a flower crown. She looks like she just walked out of Woodstock. This girl is only about 6 but she looks like she has known the Beatles since they first came about. The way she gawks at the mosaic. She reminds me of Charlie in that way, the passion that she holds in her eyes.

"She is so cute." Charlie smiles down at her. The little girl pulls a paper crane that she looks like she made herself out of her bag, placing it right in the middle of the stone. The women behind us snaps a picture of the girl before she gets up.

"She comes here everyday." The women explains to Charlie. "It's her favorite place." She smiles down at her daughter.

"She is beautiful." Charlie nods.

"I try." The women laughs. "Come on Gwen." She holds out her hand and the little girl grabs it.

"Tomorrow?" She questions looking up at her mother.

"Of course." She smiles down at her daughter as they walk away.

"That is the cutest thing I have ever seen." Charlie looks up at me with tears in her eyes.

"Are you crying?" I question.

"No!" She wipes her eyes.

"Yes you are." I say laughing a little.

"Shut up!" She playfully hits my chest and starts walking away.

"Hey hey!" I jog after her, snaking my arm around her waist. "I am just messin with ya love."

"I want kids." She says staring at the ground.

"Wow." I say taking a deep breath.

"I mean not now." She chuckles, trying to ease the tension.

"Someday." I nod, looking away from her.

"Alright enough of this!" She changes moods, grabbing both of my hands, walking in front of me. "See its getting dark and we need to go to one more place."

"Ah but I have a different plan." I pull her back to my chest, wrapping my arm around her small waist. "It is time for me to take over."

"Wait what?!" She questions confused as people walk around us. "You planned something? When? How?"

"Don't worry about it!" I say placing a small kiss on her lips. "Just be happy. Yeah please just be happy." Being able to say the words out loud make me believe them even more. All I really want is for Charlie to be happy and sometimes I feel as if I am holding her back from that.

"I am happy Niall." She smiles at me, a slight look of confusing. "I am happy with you."

"Then come with me." I grin, grabbing her hand pulling her out of the park and hailing down a cab.

"Where is it we are going?" She questions as we get in the cab.

"It's a surprise." I say with a grin on my face.

"When did you have time to plan this?" She scoots closer to me, and I wrap my arm around her shoulder.

"When you were talking to Ashton this morning." I shrug.

"We only talked for about fifteen minutes." She says scrunching her nose.

"Exactly enough time to make a few calls." The cab comes to a stop and I open the door, getting out and holding out my hand for Charlie.

She takes it, exiting from the cab. "The Empire State Building?" She questions.

"Oh but it is so much more." I take her hand and lead her into the buidling.

CHARLIE'S P.O.V.

"Welcome to the Empire State Buidling Mr. and Mrs. Horan." The man at the elevator greets us. "Enjoy your ride." The doors open and we step inside. They slowly close and we start our journey up.

"Mr. and Mrs. Horan?" I question, raising an eyebrow at him.

"I didn't tell them to say that." He shrugs. "But it does have a nice ring to it."

"Oh hush!" I scold him.

"The thought is still there ya know." Niall takes the ring between his thumb and finger kissing it like he always does. "I still and always will want to marry you Charlie."

I don't know what to say and luckily I don't have to because the elevator doors slide open.

I stand still at the scenery leading out to the top floor. Lights line the building and rose petals are scattered around the floor.

"You did all this?" I question.

"All for you." Niall takes my hand and pulls me out of the elevator into this wonderland that he has created.

A small table for two with a white cloth sits in the middle of the room. A bottle of champagne lays in ice with two glasses.

"This is incredible." I can't help the stupid grin on my face.

"I have a confession." He sigh, pulling out a chair for me to sit and I do, scooting in. He sits across from me, running his fingers through his hair.

"And that would be?" I question, leaning into the table.

"I may of had a little bit of help."

"Did maybe Ashton have a little bit to do with this?"

"Or maybe most all of it." He says scrunching his nose.

"At least you showed up." I giggle. "I didn't peg you as the rose petals type of guy."

"I'm not." He grabs the bottle of champagne off the ice and two glasses. "I am more of a 'you're pretty hot let's hook up' type of guy." He says with a smirk.

"You know you hide away under all those tattooes and that very hot piercing." I say and he bites his lip, making his lip piercing disappear. "But you are just a hopeless romantic when it comes to me." I grin and he leans into the table, his lips just inches away from mine.

"Is that what you think?" He says raising an eyebrow.

"No." I shake my head. "That's what I know." I grin and lean in farther for a kiss but my lips connect to something cold.

"Champagne?" I open my eyes and peel my lips away from the tall glass that Niall holds in front of me.

"You bastard." I take the glass from him. "You will be lucky if you get any tonight." I smirk, leaning back in my chair as I take a sip.
