Can you see me in your eyes?-Ch44

Claudi keeps her hold against his neck, slowly feeling his breathing get weaker as Jungwoo begins to fade away.  There's a voice calling out to her, as she tries to feel the feelings of love she has for Jungwoo and this manipulated feeling, that she is experiencing is weakening any hate she ever had towards him.  She feels her heart ache, at what she is doing but she can't fight off against the whispers getting louder in her ears.  They cackle and giggle like little schools who can't stop going into a fit.  The sounds get louder, as it almost becomes so interminable for her but she still continues to fight against the evil trapping her soul.  He struggles against her constricting hold against him, but he manages to reach for her face.  He caresses her face gently as he gazes into her eyes endearingly and wipes the tears from her eye.  He then falls limp and she lets go of his throat as the mist begins to leave her body.  Her eyes revert back to her normal brown shade.  She realises what she's done and begins to scream.  She shakes his body in desperation and tries to perform CPR on him, but has no clue as she checks his pulse and feels nothing.  "God... No...No Jungwoo... Please... Wake up!"-Claudi.  Lucas and Yasmin, Van Hellsing and Claudi's mum rush into the room after hearing Claudi's wailing.  "Oh my fucking God Jungwoo! Speak to me man! What did you do Claudi?!"-Lucas.  "I-I.. I don't know... I found my hands around his neck...I don't know what happened... PLEASE TELL ME YOU CAN SAVE HIM RIGHT!?"-Claudi.  "Lucas... This wasn't her fault!"-Yasmin.  "Babe please she killed him, even if she was under a fucking spell! That doesn't change the fact, that my only friend, best friend was stolen from me.  I don't think you understand what the guy's been through! Sure we've all had our fair share of shitty upbringings.. but try losing your mother to an act she never committed... Jungwoo's mother died in his place, because before his father took him in and became king...Jungwoo's mother was very ill.  He stole medicine for her, but she took the blame and Jungwoo had to watch his mother get decapitated... Can you imagine how frightening or traumatising that is?! That lady who is married to his father, that's just his step-mother and with no where to go... Jungwoo was forced into marriage with Jisoo.  Losing... your sibling was hard yes... but imagine losing your mother in one of the most cruelest ways possible..."-Lucas.  Claudi freezes and tears start to cascade down rapidly, as she clutches her heart and sinks to the floor.  She feels as if the ground could swallow her up whole, as she wishes to forget the pain and erase it from her memory permanently.  She never knew everything about Jungwoo and wanted to grow closer to him, but now she knows why he never let anyone inside.  "Y-you're such an invaluable friend to Jungwoo... Y-you've always stood by him...I-I wanna thank you for doing that Lucas.  You're truly amazing"-Claudi.  He looks agape at her words but notices the tears seeping into her clothes and feels guilt overcome him.  He wraps her in a hug and pats her back softly.  "I'm sorry for shouting at you... I-I just don't want to lose him.. He's so important to me.  Like Yasmin, Jungwoo and you.. you're all so important to me... I can't lose any of you"-Lucas.  Claudi holds onto Jungwoo's hand and cries into his chest, as his skin becomes cold and she notices a tear falling from his eye.  "Jungwoo...Jungwoo?! Can you hear me?!"-Claudi.  "Yuyan...Get Claudine now! She's still a witch, she could save him!"-Lucas.  "Lucas... I don't think she will help us...I will contact her"-Claudi's mum.  

Claudine begrudgingly comes and looks upon the melancholic faces upon the room and realises that Claudi actually went through with the killing.  "I know you're probably happy... but Jungwoo really didn't deserve any of this.. If you want the story of what really happened Claudine...then I'll tell you... but please save him! You're the only one who can perform a resurrection spell!"-Lucas.  "Lucas... that spell is extremely dangerous...  I don't know what will happen if I perform it! It could fail or it could kill one of you instead!"-Claudine.  "Please! My best friend is dying here! There's still some life... I can feel something but it's very weak!"-Lucas.  "I can feel a pulse... but a very weak one"-Claudi.  "Okay.. Fine but you better tell me the story and I'll decide whether I kill him myself and then his entire family"-Claudine.  

She concentrates very hard as she focuses on one spot, where the healing process will start to take place.  An aurora like ray flows from her hands and wraps itself around Jungwoo's body.  Claudine has her eyes closed as she chants some words and the light intensifies.  She keeps conjuring the same spell, until the marks around his neck begin to fade and heal.  She feels herself sweating and becoming weak from overexerting herself.  Lucas holds onto her shoulders, as she tries to keep her up right.  She appreciates his help and slowly lifts him into the air.  The rays seep into his body, as the others keep their eyes closed because of the harsh light.  After a few moments, the light vanishes and Jungwoo is slowly brought back to the ground.  Without giving it a second thought, Claudi goes over and kisses him without even waiting for him to blink or open his eyes.  He starts coughing but the moment he feels her lips on his, he responds by pulling her closer.  He deepens the kiss with her and everyone in the room cringes in silence, but Lucas feels tears stinging his eyes.  Claudine drops to the ground, but Yasmin catches her and they put her on the bed as her eyes begin to close.  "God.. He had me worried there"-Lucas.  "It's okay you can cry"-Yasmin.  She takes her tall boyfriend in her embrace and wraps his arms around her waist, as he silently sobs into her clothes.  She rubs his back soothingly and tightens his grip around her waist.  

Jungwoo and Claudi slowly back away, as Claudi throws her arms around his neck and starts crying about how she thought she lost him for good and how she would never forgive herself, for actually almost killing him.  But also because of his traumatic scarring past, that she holds him close as he silently sends daggers in Lucas' direction but notices him still sobbing into his girlfriend's arms. "Yo man It's kinda creepy to see you getting emotional over a guy.. I think you're gonna have to question your sexuality at this rate"-Jungwoo.  He says this teasingly as Lucas slowly lets go of his girlfriend and storms over to Jungwoo.  "You... You had me fucking worried and that's all you can say???"-Lucas.  "Well what can I say? I'm a devil and you thought you could get rid of me easily??? Nah you're stuck with me for life lmao"-Jungwoo.  "Ah.. you prick I do hate you, know that right?"-Lucas. "Of course I do"-Jungwoo.  

"Do I get to know of this story then? I'll decide whether I want to keep Jungwoo dead or alive"-Claudine.

"Oh you wanna know my life? Sit tight then, cuz it's gonna be one heck of a journey"-Jungwoo

The story's gonna end soon... and I've already got a new idea lmao

I had fun writing all this drama and l'm hoping to still get back into writing the other ones :3
