The sword of hell-ch30

The whole process shakes Yasmin to the core, as the vampire notices her and Claudine makes her become invisible before the vampire is able to attack her.  "Yasmin.. It's gonna get even more dark are you sure you can handle it?"-Claudine.  "What else is going to happen? I had to witness his sweet sister get raped.. after I just got to know her!"-Yasmin.  "A lot worse.  It's your choice if you don't wanna see anymore"-Claudine.  "No I will see everything through to the end, so I can truly understand Lucas better"-Yasmin.  "Why would you go through so much for one.. person?"-Claudine.  "Cause that's what love is. To want to know everything about their past, their scars, their happy moments, their sad moments and being there for them no matter what"-Yasmin.  "You're really such a fool.. don't say I didn't warn you"-Claudine. 

The scene unravels as Lucas and Yasmin bump into each other yet again, but this time he walks past her and pretends to not know her.  She clutches onto his arm gently, before letting go and walking off in the opposite direction.  She watches him as he doesn't turn back and instead heads into the alleyway.  She closely observes him when she sees a man with sunglasses and a domineering tone, the moment Lucas approaches him.  "I'm so glad you considered to take the job kid. Last time you didn't want too, but now you've had a change of heart?"-???.  "I'll do it.  I'll take out the trash like him, who don't deserve to live"-Lucas.   Yasmin immediately covers her mouth with her hand, as the man notices her shadow.  "Lucas you have company.. Pretty lady why don't you step out from your place?"-???.  Slowly but hesitantly she steps out and the man laughs, as Lucas glares at her but she sees the worry in his eyes.  "Oh you are very pretty.  Is she your girlfriend Lucas?"-???.  "No she already has a boyfriend"-Lucas.  "Ah that's a shame.. then why are you here young lady?"-???.  "I-I'm still getting adjusted to this town so I ended up here.. sorry about that"-Yasmin.  "No it's fine sweetheart, the way you dress is quite anachronistic"-???.  "Ah.. right um I guess my first stop will be looking for clothes.  Sorry for the trouble"-Yasmin.  "Wait"-Lucas.  "Hmm well then do be safe.  Lucas I'll contact you again for your first job"-???.  The man disappears and Lucas pins her hands up against the wall, as he gazes at her with anger, but she softly reaches out touches his cheek.  "Why are you doing this? Your boyfriend wouldn't like this"-Lucas.  "Oh please.. he would love it.  Look this is gonna sound really crazy and you probs won't believe me but I come from the future.  And you Lucas are my boyfriend in that time"-Yasmin.  ".. That does kind of make sense"-Lucas.  "Wait you believe me?"-Yasmin.  "I mean your clothing is weird, you have no clue where you are and also the way you talk is different"-Lucas.  "So you believe me?"-Yasmin. "Yeah.. I think it's best you stay away from me tho.  You saw what happened to Nancy... I can't imagine you going through that so please for your own safety; please stay away from me"-Lucas.  "I can't just leave you when you're like this"-Yasmin.  "You're sweet and that, but really I think it's better this way"-Lucas.  He presses his lips against her cheek before sighing and dropping  a bag of money in her hands, before leaving and not turning back.  She tries to chase after him but he's become one with the crowd, so finding him turned out to take longer than expected.  

Meanwhile with Lucas...

"Your first job is to assassinate this man... don't spare anyone"-???.

"Does he have children or a wife?"-Lucas.

"Yes.  He has one son and a wife"-???.

"What did he do that you want me to kill him?"-Lucas.

"He steals young girls from their families and sells them off to become sex slaves for the rich"-???.

"I'll kill him for you then"-Lucas.

"Tell me boy do you have any experience in killing someone?"-???.

"Yeah I murdered the man who raped my sister"-Lucas.

"I see.. but you may need training to fully be ready to take on your first assignment"-???.

"That's no problem, I'd hate to be a burden to you before I begin my first assignment"-Lucas

"Ah and don't worry you'll be rewarded extra generously"-???.

"Please... don't let my sister find out or her... she doesn't need to know either"-Lucas

"That young girl from earlier? So you do know her?"-???.

"Yeah... a bit complicated but I don't want to involve her either"-Lucas.

"I can assure you nothing will happen to her or your sister"-???.

"Thank you.. Okay when does my training begin?"-Lucas.

"As soon as I have everything set up"-???.

Yasmin wonders the town alone, as she uses the money to get herself a room to sleep for the night and to buy some dinner for herself.  She sighs as she also managed to get herself some clothing that fits in with the time period she's in.  After a long exhausting day, she lets her eyes fall shut as she wraps herself under the blanket.  

After a hellish period, Lucas is finally ready to go after his first victim.  Inexorably he assassinates the family without even blinking an eye, or feeling remorseful for his actions.  Their blood staining his machete with murder.  He hides the bodies in the way he was taught and steals any valuables, that could be sold for a high amount of money.  After painting their walls a different shade of colour, he exits the house and someone comes to pick him up.  "You did well kid.  That was some good work"-???.  "When do I get my first paycheck then boss?"-Lucas.  "Ah patience kid, here you go I keep my word"-???. 

Lucas heads home and is greeted by the sight of this sister just lifelessly staring off into the void, as he sighs and heads to his room instead.  He tries to sleep but the image of Yasmin is stuck in his head, as he tosses and turns in his sleep at how would she react to knowing he's a hired hitman to assassinate people, for huge sums of money.  Also he feels guilty, because she's in an unfamiliar setting and he gave her money to last for a week.  He feels he should keep an eye out for her, but doesn't want to involve her in the danger that encompasses around him.  

They both knew, that whatever their fate was... is bound to lead to a love story mixed with danger and a compelling attraction that isn't yet to fully blossom, but when it does.. there's no turning point for the two.  

why did I even write this at 3:47... what is sleep

I kept it subtle cuz it wouldn't be fun to just full on write a murder scene..
