Chapter 23 - Apologizing

It's been almost a week since iv walked in on Jai and Megan kissing. He's tried calling and texting me but I haven't answered, I don't think there's could really be an explanation to it. Since then, iv been sleeping and going on youtube, I have hardly even left my bed. My sleeping pattern is pretty messed up, so iv been waking up at like 1pm.

I decided I should get some fresh air, since it's been awhile. I got changed into a pair of black leggings and a 'dirty pig' jumper from my brothers merchandise. I got heaps of their shirts and jumpers. I put my hair in a messy bun and made my way to the door.

James wasn't home so I didn't need to tell him I was going it, I would only be gone for about an hour. As soon as I opened the door, Jake was there. He had his hand up in a fist, assuming he was about to knock.

I furrowed my eyebrows "What are you doing here?"

"I came to apologize." he said, looking at me straight in the eyes.

I'm still really confused, "What for?"

"Uh, you know, cheating on you." He said the last part in a whisper.

I got pretty angry, he shouldn't be apologizing now. "Just leave me alone." I said, pushing past him and locking the door shut.

I started walking away, I got about half way down the drive way until he grabbed my arm.

"Please just hear me out." He had sadness and guilt written all over his face.

"Just leave me alone!" I shouted, not wanting to talk to him.

"Aria please jus-"

"She said leave her alone." A deep voice said from behind me.

I turned around and saw Jai and James. They both looked confused. Jake didn't say anything else and just walked away, not wanting to put up a fight.

I mumbled a 'thankyou' and looked to the floor.

"Hey." Jai come over and wrapped his arms around me. "Stop crying." He mumbled. I didn't even realize I was crying until he said that.

I pulled away and wiped my tears. I gave Jai a small smile. James must of walked inside since I couldn't see him anymore.

I walked back inside, not wanting to go for a walk anymore. Jai followed me in and sat on the couch, while I sat next to him. It was a bit awkward between us, since the last time I saw him he was making out with me ex-bestfriend. He looked a little uncomfortable too, so I shifted a bit so I wasn't so close to him.

I pulled out my phone and made a group conversation with Yianni and Brooke in it. I texted them saying 'come over now, want to tell you guys something.' They both agreed and said their coming over now.

"He actually tried to say sorry?" Brooke asked, shocked. I nodded at her. I had explained to Brooke and Yianni what happened before with Jake, they were both really surprised.

"Maybe he had a reason though?" Yianni said, he's been quite this whole time until now.

"I didn't want to hear his made up bullshit to get me back, Yianni." I said. He shrugged. Brooke rolled her eyes.

"So Jai came in and saved the day?" Brooke said, wiggling her eye brows at me.

"I guess you could say that?" I said, unsure of what exactly she meant.

"When are you going to get in with him?" She asked with a huge smirk.

I shrugged, "Probably won't since I walked in on him making out with Megan." I said. I had completely forgotton to tell them about that.

"WHAT!" Brooke and Yianni yelled at the same time.

"Uh, yeah. The other day when I came home from your house, I walked in and they were making out."

Brooke's mouth was wide open, and Yianni just started at me. I mumbled a 'yeah' and looked down at my lap.

"Why?" Brooke asked.

"I don't know. I got upset and didn't let him explain." I mumbled, not feeling comfortable talking about it.

Brooke groaned and fell back on my bed. Yianni was still quite, which I don't get. He's only talked like once since he got here.

"You okay?" I asked him.

"Just got a few things on my mind." He said quietly.

"Like?" I asked.

"You remember what I told you about Sam? Yeah well, he says he likes me and all, but he told me he doesn't want to be seen in public with me. He doesn't want to loose his 'reputation.'" He sighed.

I rolled my eyes, "If he's going to do that, there's no point in trying. Sorry Yianni, but it's the truth. I don't want you to get hurt." I said. I took a glance at Brooke and she was scrolling through her phone.

"I agree with Aria. That's a load of bullshit." Brooke said, sitting up.

Yianni sighed. This time he laid back on my bed. "I just don't know what to do."

Jai POV

I should have spoken to Aria while I could. I should have just told her everything. She's probably never even going to speak to me again.

"Have you spoken to Aria lately?" Luke asked like he was reading my mind.

"No." I said, still looking at the ceiling.

"You need to talk to her." He was really serious.

"Why do you care anyway?" I snapped.

"Because you like each other! You can't just never speak to her again, at least not without explaining what happened." He said. I had told Luke what had actually happened, he forgave me. I just need to tell Aria.

"You know what?" Luke started.

"What?" I mumbled.

"You're going to talk to Aria, now."
