So the other day.... A E J and I all went to the zoo. Highlights: me and J annoyed E a lot. I was hidden in the background of every picture. I fell off a statue of a Komodo dragon. Ouch. J is scared of bats. Met my spirit animal((the brightly colored rainbow parrot on the cover))
So yeah... J didn't want to go in the reptile house because snakes and bugs and things. E made us because 1) E likes snakes 2) E likes air conditioning
E likes musical songs but hates when me and J sing them loudly in public. So that's exactly what we did in the RH. So while A was collapsed on the floor, enjoying the AC, me and J were singing "The guy id kinda be into" from be more chill, while chasing E. She made it to the exit, ran out, and we chased her all the way around back to the entrance and followed her until she collapsed on top of A. So she was pretty pissed for a while. But she doesn't mean it so it's ok.So in front of the reptile house, there's an outdoor/indoor enclosure for the Komodo Dragon, and right outside it is a life size bronze statue of it. So we were coming back from the Sea Lion show, and J and A we're taking their own sweet time, while E and I booked it to the Komodo dragon. E gave up half way through, but I kept running. When I got to the statue, I sat down on it because I was too lazy to walk to the bench. I leaned back to catch my breath and I fell off, flat on my back. It hurt. E was the only one who saw it, so by the time J and A got there we were both on the ground laughing our asses off.
They recently added a nocturnal house to the Zoo, and me and E we're excited to see the bats. J was not. When you go in, all the lights are off, except for black lights. The bat cage is really cool because it the hallway wraps around it, so you can see them all the way around. Except that you can't really see them, so it's kind of a jump scare when they nyooom by. J may or may not have screamed. It was really cool tho.
Basically the whole time A was... well I don't really know what she was doing. J was cowering in fear in critters, and me and E were gawking over cute thing: otters, bats, Jonny Cade (outsiders!!! 😭) the sheep (I named him), and many others. I kinda feel bad for J's mom who took us. We kept running off and she had to wrangle us. That's a pretty hard job.
Moral of the story: never go to the Zoo with my friends. Bad things happen.
