Random realization

I just had a really random realization: the first few lines in The Last Day of Summer, from the Lightning Thief Musical are actually really deep, if you use the words "quest" and "battle" metaphorically.

"What do you do when the quest is ended?
What do you when the battle's won?
So many questions left unanswered,
so many things still left undone.

What do you do when it's up to you to choose?
Has something ended or begun?
Stay or go? Pick one"

Another line that stuck out to me:
"Sometimes family is worth the trouble"

I don't know, the song kinda just popped into my head, and I got to thinking. Like wow. These words can refer to so much.

Also the song is a bop. Go listen to it:
(Spoiler warning)

(Yes the really gruff, angry little man talking about 50 seconds in is in fact the bean himself, George Salazar)

Alsoooooooo I'm not gonna give any spoilers, but last night I watched the movie adaptation of the book If I Stay. The author, Gayle Forman, was one of the three main producers of the movie, so literally every line in the movie is mostly word for word from the book, which is AMAZING. Aside from the fact that the book is an emotional train wreck and I was bawling my eyes out the entire movie. Then at some points I started thinking about the sequel book and that made me sad.

I don't know if I've talked about this here before, but I went to New York City this past March for an a cappella concert my choir was performing in(not by ourselves, 275 people in our act of the show) at Lincoln Center. I was almost crying waiting outside the building because it's right next door to Juilliard. That's all I'm gonna say.

*tries to find picture I took of Juilliard then cried bc I think I deleted it*

Anyway,,,,,,, later I might post some pictures that I didn't delete from my trip (including the set of Dear Even Hansen from row 2 honhonhon) if you guys wanna see them.

Cya!
