So a random story just popped into my mind:
Backstory: so as some of you know, I'm a singer. I take private voice lessons, but I'm also in a chior. Through this chior I've had so many amazing experiences I wouldn't have otherwise, and connected with so many people, simply through a love to sing. Anyway, a while back I was in the American National Honor Chior, with a two other people in my Chior who made it past auditions. The concert was in Salt Lake City, Utah that year. I just thought I'd share a few stories about my experiences there.
1: The weird Altos: ok so I'm an Alto. I can sing Soprano just fine, but I'm better at alto. I was the only alto from my Chior, and I was sat between these two people who were friends. Yes, right. Between. FRIENDS. During breaks or when the director was working with the other sections, the two of them would CONSTANTLY bicker with each other.
One of them (we'll call him Cody cuz why not) had a box of mints. Not just any mints, nooo. He had ALTOidS. Can you predict what he did?? I bet you can. Cody put two fingers over the I and the D, and said "Look! Mints just for altos! Want some?" Oof this kid was the death of me.
2: SNOW DAY!: so where I lived it's only snowed twice(three if you count the Great Sleet of 2013) since I was born. Although I'm told it snowed the year before I was born. Anywho, it snowed a LOT in Utah, so me and one of my friends built a little snowman and had a snowball fright during our lunch break, after we speed ate Wendy's. She was very brutal in her snowball throwing. I think we named the snowman something like Bob or Joe. Yeah it was Joe. Joe the Snowman!
Yeah das it. Hope ya got a good laugh
