I decided to do it and it turned out really cool:
1) Peter: I Found A Boy by Adele - He's kind of petty. He left a toxic relationship with a really neglectful boyfriend, Thomas, and wants to rub it in his face that he found someone who treats him right and actually loves him.
2) Cole: Waving Through A Window from Dear Evan Hansen - (I tried really hard to make him different from Evan and I think I did good) He's very timid and lonely, and extremely desperate for love; for someone who can help him and make him feel loved and appreciated after being ignored most of his life.
3) omfg..... Love Story by Taylor Swift.... (idk why I laughed so hard when that song played) - Cole and Peter meet at a party, and they slowly start to fall in love, but Peter is still with his neglectful boyfriend. Eventually he builds up the courage to leave him and go be with Cole. After a while Peter moves in with Cole and they're happy. That is until Thomas finds his way back into Peter's life and makes it his mission to make it a living hell. Cole learns about Thomas trying get Peter back, and starts to doubt his commitment to their relationship. He starts distancing himself, anticipating being left and ignored once again.
One evening, while they're eating dinner, Peter mutters to himself "screw it" and gets out of seat and walks over to Cole. He kneels down next his chair and says, "Cole. You know I love you more than anything. You know Thomas has been trying to torment me and win me back. I know that will never happen. No matter how hard he tries, I'm not going anywhere. So... let's give him no room to but in anymore, huh? Marry me, and live our lives together?" Cole is shocked, but after a few moments, he mumbles out an answer, tears in his eyes. "Forever."
They get married quickly after, and live a happy, not perfect, but happy life together. Forever.
Ok why can I write story plots so well, but then I try to make that plot into a book it's just a mess????? Does anybody else have that problem???
