Health update (I honestly just need a hug)

Hello friends

Everyone who reads this that I'm friends with irl know this, but i have other readers so I'll say it here.

To make a long story short: this past Thursday my chicken jumped the fence around our property and was unable to jump back over, so I had to jump the fence to rescue her, but I fell in the process and sprained my ankle and my doctor thinks I tore a ligament in my knee. I will find out what's really up with my knee tomorrow because I have an MRI scheduled for tonight.

So yeah I've been in a lot of pain and been on couch rest for the past almost week. I'm really just trying not to hurt myself more since I'm going to the beach Saturday and I start rehearsals for Suessical the Musical the second week of July.

I'm so desperate for my injury to not be so bad to the point that I won't be able to dance in the show that I've cried myself to sleep just thinking about it. If you know me, you know how much performing means to me and how much it breaks my heart not to be able to perform. I mean I've literally gone onstage with a broken nose and I've twisted plenty of ankle in the middle of dance numbers without breaking character.

Anyone who knows me also knows how much I hate needles. A few minutes ago I had a small anxiety attack from reading the instructions for my mri, because there is a good chance I might need an IV somewhere in the process. Seriously even getting regular vaccines scares me. The only time I've ever had an IV was when I got my tonsils out and I had to be put under first just so I wouldn't freak out when they put it in. And they waited until I woke up after my surgery and then fell back asleep to take it out. So yeah. Just a minor inconvenience. Nothing to be worried about.

I'm sure none of this is interesting to any of you but I'm kinda freaking out and needed to ramble.
