Anybody else have those certain songs that trigger memories???
Ok so I have a few I need to talk about rn. Let's get the depressing stories out of the way first: believe it or not, I hate listening to Defying Gravity from Wicked. Here's why: me and N used to have the same voice teacher when we were friends. Ever since second grade we always wanted to sing duets together and we did in Chior. We would have joined solos and stuff, but it wasn't until we sang Defying Gravity with our voice teacher that we actually got a full duet together. We loved singing it, but now even just listening to it gives me a bad taste in my mouth, after everything N did to me.
Aaaaannnd! Here's were we get feely: So I have a special connection to the song Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. (Im positive TheMusicalTrash knows where I'm going with this) So I dated this guy (we'll call him CB) for a while. A year and a few months actually. Anyway,, so one day I'm watching Netflix in my bed as I do, when he texts me "I'm at a sleepover with the guys and we were listening to just the way you are and it made me think of you. <3" that guy always knew what to say to make me melt. (((Wooooow. That sounds really sappy and cliche but it's true))) I really wish we hadn't broken up ((there were no issues we just couldn't see each other More than once a month or less. Plus he kept loosing his tiny ass phone for weeks at a time))
The last time I saw him was I think last year at a restaurant with "the guys". He had a ponytail. A CURLY ponytail.
Anywhooooo I might to a chapter with stories about him at some point. I have some really cute and funny stories to tell. Let me know if you'd like to read some of them.
