So I had dinner with KK, L, Sis M, B, Shirtless Jay, M and KK's mom and step dad, my parents obvi, and L's dad. Basically a going away party with family. Kk and L are moving to LA, which is extremely far from here.

First off, the Office was on TV at this restaurant. They were just kinda running through season nine one after the other.

Also there were national flags everywhere. One in particular stood out to me when B pointed to it. He said "Mom what's that country?" I looked up above my head and saw a pride flag and almost started dying laughing. I didn't want to say anything in cuz I don't know M's views on it or if she wants her kid to know what that means, but watching her struggle was quite entertaining. "Well... uuum. That's not a country. Remember when Aunt so and so married Aunt Josie? It's for people like that. People who want to get married." But you could tell she was trying to beat around the bush and not say gay. I just started giggling and she looked so confused and I was just kinda dying with no explanation.

Also Kk gave my number to her cousin Maxwell, who I've known about as Maya for years, but never actually met them. She says we'd get along well since they sing a lot and love musical theater. They're actually going to a creative arts school for theater this year. So yeah. I've never met them, but they sound cool.

Oki here's where it gets sad: I know I've said this before, but every now and then it sets in that KK's actually leaving. She's lived in the same two cities her entire life, aside from college, in our border state, so we've always been really close. But she's leaving morning after tomorrow and as we were saying goodbye I almost just started crying right then and there. I know we can text and stuff but we almost never do. The last time I texted her was in January and the last time she texted me was for my birthday.

Anyway,,, ima go eat my tater chips in peace and maybe try to sleep
