Gato and the bridge builder

I'm saying this just in case I say something politically wrong here to the LGBTQ community. I fully support you just don't know all of the terms to describe someones sexuality of sexual preferences. I'll try to get it right just beware

*Naruto's POV

We helped the Tazuna with building the bridge as he received more and more threats from Gato and his gang. Workers began quitting on him left and right until only a few men were left. Its been three days since I met the boy in the woods, and I could feel it in my stomach that today would be the day that I meet him again. The fog over the bridge thickened as a dark chakra flooded over us like a tsunami. Everyone dropped into their positions that we set a few days earlier. Sakura would be standing side by side with Tazuna as me, Kakashi, and Sasuke tried to locate the enemy.  As the mist got thicker it got even harder to see. I was barely able to get out of the way as a senbom flew at my face. A boy in a hunters mask ran at me with his fist drawn back. A barrage of punches were flying at me as I sent a low kick sweeping the opponents legs out from underneath him. The boy fell to the ground and I held my kunai to his throat. The boy slowly slipped away into the ice on the ground.

'Teleportation' I thought to myself as I looked through the thick fog. I tried walking towards where Kakashi was supposed to be until I heard a mirror

"There is no escape ice style:demonic mirroring ice crystals" he said as the fog cleared revealing many mirrors surrounding me

'Damn' I thought as I tried to smash through the mirror in-front of me. I came back with bloody knuckles. I winced in pain as I needle sunk into my skin. I turned around just in time to block three more that were being thrown at me. I threw one of my own shurikens at the mirror where I saw the hunter ninja. The shuriken sunk into the mirror disappearing. More senboms were thrown at me but from more then one direction. I was unable to block all of them and some sunk into my calf and upper arm. This continued to happen as my movement slowed and more senboms hit me. I looked like a pufferfish with all of the needles sticking out of me. I fell to the ground in defeat as the hunter ninja walked out of the mirror he was in. He walked over to my paralyzed body and held his needle to my throat.

"This didn't have to happen, Naruto" he said. I struggled to turn my head as tears fell from under the mask.

'Haku no' I thought to myself as he pushed the needle closer to my throat

"At least you already know the pain of having your throat slit open" he said to me. I braved for the cut until I felt Haku's presence off my body. I looked up to see Sasuke standing over me

"No one is going to kill you except me" he yelled at me. He closed his eyes as Haku walked back into his mirrors. Senboms came from all directions as I was screaming in my head for Sasuke to leave. He closed his eyes to focus. When he opened them there was and unmistakable red color to them. If I wasn't already in the verge of death my heart would have stopped

'No this is to soon I'm not ready' I thought to myself in a panic as Sasuke caught or blocked all of the senboms. Haku got angry and the attacks got faster and we're flying from all direction. A few got through Sasuke's defensive movements as the same thing that happened to me a few moment earlier happened to him. He fell to the ground as Haku walked over to him and put his needle on his throat

'Now die' he yelled slitting Sasuke's throat. The color drained from his eyes as Haku got off of him

'Damn it. Damn it. Damn it' I thought to myself in anger

"Hush kit I can help you" the nine tails said from his cage.

"What are you going to do" I asked him.

"I'll give you some of my power to beat the ice user" the nine tails said with a grin

"What's the catch?" I Asked knowing his likely evil intentions

"Only one little thing" he said reaching his paw out from behind cage bars. A ball of red chakra formed in his hand. I quickly reach out and grabbed it to save me and Sauske. As soon as my hand touched it I felt the rage of the beast over come me. I screamed out in pain as the red chakra covered my body.

"The catch is you will rampage until the chakra runs out" the nine tails said laughing as he disappeared into the darkness. I woke up out of my mind with a need for blood

'Kill him. Kill him. Kill him' is all the went through my head as my body moved on it's own. The senboms shot out of my skin shattering the mirrors. The boy in the stumbled covered in his own needles

"How?" He said as I jumped at him slamming him against the bridge side. Blood came out of his mouth as his mask fell off. Haku looked me in the eyes and spat his blood at me as he froze my arm. I back up in pain as he jumped to attack me. I was repeatedly hit unable to throw a counter attack in my enraged form. Haku went for a finishing kick to the head when I lashed out. The red chakra swirled around me creating a shield like some around me spiraling into the air. The fog cleared as the red chakra dissipated. I stumbled around until I looked up to see Haku trying to stand. I stumbled over to him and grabbed him by his hair picking him up.

(Why?) I asked him. 

"Because I love Zabuza" he said with blood trickling out of his mouth. This surprised me for a moment and I let go.

"Naruto" he said standing up " I live for Zabuza, he is the only reason I breathe" Haku said to me. He fumbled over to me. At this point I was on the ground exhausted from using the nine tails chakra.

"Naruto this could have been different" he said to me "remember what I told you in the woods" he said.

-flashback

"Naruto I really like you but I could never be with you we would need to keep it a secret" Haku said leaning into me. I quickly pushed him off

(You have enough secrets already) I said to him standing up (sorry I'm not into guys) I said looking down his dress. I smiled at him waving bye as I saw Sasuke. He looked at me in surprise and then in embarrassment.

"I will always love you Naruto" he said

-present

(Haku) I mouthed to him. With the fog cleared and my battle almost over I could see Kakashi sensei. He had Zabuza pinned down with his ninja hounds and in his hand there was a lightning blade. He ran towards Zabuza with the intent to kill him. It was so fast I struggled to see it but Haku was running over to Zabuza very injured from our fight. He jumped in front of sensei lightning blade as it pierced his chest killing him.

Hope this is a good ending for wave arc I really like writing these last few chapters I hoped everyone enjoyed them
