*Naruto's POV

"You all need to sign a consent form. when your entire team is signed up bring them to me and I'll give you a heaven or earth scroll" Anko said explaining the rest of the rules. I filled out my form and waited for Sakura who was having second doubts about the exam. Sasuke being the sadist he is gave her the best pep-talk ever

"I won't let you keep me from my goal. Sign the damn paper and lets get this over with." He growled at her. She signed her paper and handed it to me. I brought them over to Anko who handed me our scroll and told me to bring my team over to our assigned gate. We went there and waited for the signal to start. As soon as the doors open we were on the move trying to find another group. It wasn't long until Sakura had to take a break. I felt them to go take a leak, and when I came back Sasuke was chasing off another shinobe.

"Weakling" He yelled after him. I walked over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder telling him to calm down. He shock my hand off and stormed off. Sakura whowas still in a panic from the first fight was still sitting. I sat down next to her and let out a big sigh.

"I'm going to see if he is ok" She said to me standing up leaving me alone.

'well at least one person cares about him' I thought as I stood up and brushed myself off. I heard a twig snap behind me and I quickly turned around. I took a step back as I saw a giant snake slithering up behind me. I was unable to react in time and was eaten by the creature

'no, I can't lose yet' I thought making hundreds of shadow clones until the snake popped open like a balloon. As I stepped over the flesh left behind I heard an explosion near where Sasuke and Sakura ran off to. I ran as quickly as I could to get to them to see what was going on. When I got there Sasuke was battling some grass shinobe with a crazy tongue. It seemed like half of her face was melted off showing another face below it. Sasuke was frozen in fear as the oppenet jumped at him. I threw my kunai teleporting between Sasuke and the other ninja kicking them in the side as I teleported. The went flying onto another branch as I pressured Sasuke to get up

"No you can't beat him just run!" he yelled as he struggled to get up. this went on a few more times until I had enough. I punched him in the face sending him to his back. I turned towards the other shinobi who seemed to be taking amusement in Sasuke's frantic condition. I threw dozens of kunai all over the place.

"Ah the son of the Hokage and the flying thunder god" The enemy said licking their lips "This will be fun-" they began to say as I threw a kunai at them teleporting to the with my kick loaded. They knew that I would be teleporting to the kunai so they prepared a punch to hit me with once I teleported. when the enemy threw the punch I teleported away sending them off balance. I teleported to the kunai I threw in the branch below him sending the kick from below. This caught the enemy by suprise and the kick made contact. He turned to face me as I teleported away. When I jumped at him from another direction he caught my kick and slammed me into the truck of the tree. I winced in pain as my head snapped back I was able to open my eyes to see him standing right on top of me with a kunai held by his tongue against my neck.

"Well you are quite the prize but I need the Uchiha" he whispered in my ear. I gasped as he plunged the the kunai into my hand pinning me to the tree. He turned to where Sakura was trying to get Sauske to stand up.

"You boys did well, but until next time." He said expanding his neck out to an inhuman length and bit Sauske in the neck. Sauske cried out in pain as black markings covered his body. My vision was blurring but I couldn't let our attacker get away. I reached up pulling the kunai out of my hand. I hoped that the nine tails chakra would heal me but the wound continued to bleed as I tried to stand up. I felt myself getting weaker as I could hardly see and I had to use the tree as support. I got a quick glance over at Sauske and Sakura to see that Sauske was out cold but Sakura looked unharmed.

'Need to stay awake' I thought as I jumped over to the tree where Sauske and Sakura were standing. I couldn't stop myself from blacking out mid jump. I could feel my almost lifeless body falling to the ground. I felt something catch me and pin me to a tree and that was the last thing I could remember.

"Well kit that was fun" Kurama said to me as I layer in the water of the sewer.

"Shut up cat, I just need to wake up" I yelled at him as I winced in pain. The injury on my hand followed me into the mind space I growled in pain

"What the hell is this" I said putting pressure onto the wound.

"It's a special kind of metal that blocks all chakra from wound I can't heal you." The nine tails said licking his paw

"What's wrong with you" I asked him looking into the cage

"Idiot do you think your the only one who feels the wounds" the nine tails said showing me his paw. There was a large gash in it similar to the one in my hand. I felt sorry for the beast as I slowly slipped back into reality. I awoke to see Sakura holding Sauske, or something late looked like Sauske covered in black markings back from a group of sound shinobi.
