Naruto's POV

I rushed out of the house while throwing on my jacket. I ran through the streets of the village until I was in the Hyuga compound where I stopped to catch my breath before I knocked on the door. One of the lower members of the clan opened the door bowing to me.

"Young lord. Please come in" I smiled and waved at her as she closed the door behind me

"Naruto!" I heard Hinabi yell as she ran up to me pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back asking her where Hinata was.

"In the garden do you want me to go and get her?" Hinabi asked. I shuck my head no as I walked through the house until I stepped out into the garden where Hinata was training with with her father.

"Big sis Naruto is here for you" Hinabi yelled to her sister. 

"Naruto you're back" She said walking over to me pulling me into a kiss.

(Sorry to keep you waiting) I said to her

"Oh shut up you perfectionist" She laughed. I waved to Hiashi who stood there glaring at me. I backed away in fear as he activated his Byakugan. Hinata turned around and glared at her face while pulling me out of the door. Unlike our first date she was the one pulling me through the village while I struggled to keep my footing, but just like last time as she stopped at our favorite ramen place my momentum continued forward and I slammed my face into the side of a vegetable cart.

'Idiot' I yelled to myself as Hinata laughed at me. We walked into Ichiraku ramen stand, and 26 bowls later I was full, and as Hinata downed her 29 bowl she turned and looked at me

"Your done already?" She asked. At first I thought she was joking, but her eyes told me she wasn't 

(Uh yeah I guess) I said rubbing the back of my head. We payed for our food and walked to the park near by. We sat on a bench and watched the sun set. As I began to doze off Hinata spoke up bringing me back to reality

"Naruto, Sakura told me about what happened on your mission... with that boy-" she began to say before I suddenly stood up. I clenched my fist and turned to walk away but Hinata grabbed my hand.

"Naruto I need you to talk to me it might help" She said pulling me into her

"I just... Don't know" I said as my eyes began to tear up

"There is more to this story isn't there?" She asked. I nodded telling her about my conversation with Madara and how he blamed Dedira's death on me. Hinata lied her head on my chest with her arms around my stomach

"No it's not true. It's not your fault. You.

" were trying to protect the people you love" She said

"Then... Why did... it fe...el so...good" I said as I began to feel a stream of tears come down my face. She didn't say anything which scared me. I pulled her in tighter as I began to cry into her shoulder.

"Naruto I will always be here for you" She said. We hugged for another minute until I teleported us into her room. We kissed good bye as I teleported back home and jumped into bed, but unlike last night sleep evaded me. once the clock struck 6 am I jumped out of bed and wrote my report on the mission to rescue Gaara. I froze as I came to the part where I killed Dedira. I took a deep breath and with a shaky hand I wrote

Death by kunai to a vital point in the neck

I finished mt report leaving my conversation with Madara out not wanting dad to question me about it. I left my house in the same cloths I have had on for the past three days and teleported to dads office. I was surprised to see Kakashi and Sakura there. I waved to them giving dad my report. He had a very serious look on his face.

"I know you just had a very difficult mission, but I wanted to give you the option to accept this mission since it affects you a lot" Dad said resting his head in the palm of his hands

(Whats is it) I asked looking down at the paper work on his desk. One piece of paper stood out to me. It was written by an  by an ANBU member called Kinoe. I grabbed the scroll with no opposition from dad. I read the scroll with shaking hands.

-One of the Akaski hide outs had been reported active with the sightings of Orochimaru, Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Ushihs, and Madara. Requesting large assistance for the potential elimination of these threats to the leaf

I looked at dad while I handed the scroll to Sakura and Kakashi. Dad was doing well to hide his emotions, nut I knew deep down that he wanted to go himself.

"We will take it!" Sakura yelled as she slammed the scroll onto the desk. This made everyone jump as we were all deep in thought

"I mean if you guys want to, but I am going" She said. Both me and Kakashi nodded.

"Good now go It's half a days travel from here. Good luck" He said we all turned to rush out the door. once Kakashi and Sakura were out the door dad teleported in front of me grabbing my arm

"I can't tell you to not kill them, but just remember who you are and who you want to become" Dad said to me. I stood there for a moment to let the words seep in. I flashed the brightest smile I ever have had at him. This made him smirk as I teleported to Sakura's side as we started our half a days run to the Akaski hide out

*Minato's POV

Remember who you are and who you want to become" I told Naruto before he could rush out the door. He stood there for a moment before flashing a smile at me. 

'That was the first real smile I have seen from him in a while' I thought as he teleported away

'God please help him. He is so young yet has gone through so much. Kushina have I failed you' I thought looking out my window at Naruto running out of the village gates before disappearing into the night sky

'Naruto please be safe, my son'
