*Minato's POV

"Hi dad" Naruto Said as I embraced him in a hug. I grabbed his shoulder and pushed him to an arms length in surprise.

"N-Naruto d-d-did you just-" I stuttered out as he shuck his head yes.

"How?" I asked as I had to sit down.

"I can... Speak... Very slo... wly" he said having to take his time saying each word. His voice was horses and sounded gritty, and some of the words didn't sound quite right.

"I have... to push... all of t-... he air... in... my lun-...gs to... my mou-... th to... speak" he said as he stopped to catch his breath. Talking seemed to take a lot out of him.

"It's ok you don't have to" I said to him as he sat down to catch his breath. His face was red as he was breathing heavy. He had a smile on his face.

"I... miss-... ed you" he said looking at me. It's been two years now. His hair has grown out and he was much taller almost as tall as me. I could see little streaks of red throughout his hair.

'It must be from his mother' I thought thinking about Kushina for the first time in a while

"I missed you to" I told him pulling him into a mug again. He leaned in closer to hug me and I noticed the kunai in his hand.

"Isn't that the kunai you have Hinata" I asked him. I could tell because he spent hours on it perfecting the seal and sharpening it. He nodded his head

"You promised you would see me first" I said in serious but joking matter

(Sorry accident) He said as he stood up looking at the kunai. He reached into his bag and pulled out a slip of paper and handed it to me with a smile on his face.

"What's this" I asked as I took it from him. It was a teleportation formula, but I didn't recognize it.

"Naruto did you make your own seal" I asked with a surprise. He started shaking his head yes with a big smile.

"Great work" I said examining it more closely. It was seemingly perfect. I couldn't find a flaw on it except that it needed a lot of chakra to preform the technique. It could generate more electricity and he could teleport faster with it.

""Does it work?" I asked him. He ran up to me and grabbed my shoulder and teleported is to Ichiraku Ramen.

"Sneaky" I told him as he ran into the shop and sat down "who said we were going out to lunch" I said as a bowl of ramen appeared in front of him. Naruto "talked" with the owner of the ramen stand and his daughter for what seemed like hours until Naruto was moving his lips to fast to read. We all started laughing as he was now confused at why we looked confused

(What) he asked shoving more Ramen into his face which made us all laugh more. We paid and walked through the village until we came across a very angry Kiba, a blushing Hinata, and of course the stoic Shino.

"Naruto What the hell was that stunt you pulled earlier" Kiba yelled running up to him. Naruto smiled throwing his arms behind his head

(Sorry) he said as everyone started laughing except Kiba who was fuming. When Naruto stopped laughing he walked over to Hinata. They talked quietly for a minute.

"I'm not done with you" Kiba Said as he began to storm Naruto. I grabbed his jacket

"Oh no you don't leave Naruto and Hinata's love life alone" I said

"WHAT" Kiba yelled as I dragged him away. Shino followed us until I dropped Kiba a few streets away. Kiba mumbled something and left with Shino

'Good luck Naruto' I thought as I walked home thinking about Kushina. I stopped in the middle of the street and stood there looking down at the ground deep in thought. I swung around and walked towards the grave stone of Kushina Uzumaki.

Now to explain

So it is possible for mute people to talk using a method called frog speech (What a coincidence right?) which will allow the disabled person to push air through their esophagus and mouth the make noise in a horses like fashion

And finally I know it's a short chapter I am counseloring at a camp right now and we were on the bus for four hours so I wanted to write something, and Naruinata will be the entire next chapter so I want to write a lot.
