*Naruto's POV

-Two week jump

I stepped out of my house with a smile on my face as the suns warm rays washed away the fog of tiredness from my good night sleep. I stretched my back out before I broke into a jog. I ran all the way to the Hyuga main house hold. Hinata was walking out the front door just as I arrived.

"Good morning" she said to me with a smile

"Morning" I said pulling her into a kiss. We held hands as we slowly walked through the village streets. Today was one of Hinata's few days off and I was still on extended leave after the little stunt I pulled a few weeks ago. To be honest the past two weeks have been the best few weeks of my life. I have been nothing but happiness and sunshine all day long. Our wall was interrupted by Kakashi and Kuranai sense I walking up to us. 

"Hey Naruto Lady Tsunade would like to see you at some point today" Kakashi said as Hinata started talking with Kuranai sensei. I nodded my head before I put my arms around Hinata whispering good bye in her ear before I kissed her on the cheek. I teleported to the mark I left out side the Hokages pffice and quickly rushed up stair. I shouldn't be using any form of ninja skill while I don't have my license, but I'll keep this one a secret. I knocked on the door and opened it as soon as I heard Lady Tsunade say I could come in. I walked in greeting her with a smile

"Morning granny" I said to her.

"Morning" she said back. The mood in the room felt light unlike the past few times I have been in here

"What's up" I asked he. I took a quick glance around the room before I looked down at her desk. There was a strip of cloth with a metal plate attached to it

"Well your time is up you can resume your ninja duties" she said with a smile. I quickly reached out to grab it but I stopped myself. Tsunade noticed my pause and smirked a little

"-that is if you want to" she said

I want this right? I have always wanted to be Hokage and the best ninja there ever was so why do I hesitate now. Some of the happiest times of my life I didn't have this headband. I was happy when I wasn't a ninja, but I can change that right? I can be happy with or without this. I can be the worlds greatest ninja and still be happy. I reached down and grabbed the headband and quickly tied it around my head

"Of course I want it.  Who else is going to be Hokage after you retire" I said with a smile

"Oh yeah well you still have a while to wait" she said

"Do I" I asked in a joking tone " if I remember right on your last birthday you turned 5-" I began to say before Tsunade killing intent almost crushed me

"What were you about to say" she growled

"NOTHING. nothing at all" I said while laughing. My laughter was interrupted by another ninja barging into the room.

"Lady Tsunade urgent message from the sand, stone, mist, and cloud" the ninja said holding out a scroll

'All four in one day that's a little weird' I thought as Tsunade quickly stood up and snatched the scrolls out of his hands

"Get the village elders here now" she ordered the ninja who arrived with the messages. He bowed and rushed out of the room.

"Naruto leave us please you will be informed after I meet with the elders" she said. I bowed and rushed out of the room

'This is serious' I thought as I walked around looking for Hinata

"Well look who can my training partner again" Kiba said walking up behind me putting me in a head lock.

"We were never partners more like me the kicker and you the sandbag" I said to him. He tightened his head lock and started to yell.

"WHAT DOD YOU SAY"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" I said as I squirmed in his grip with a smile

"You better be" he said letting go and punching me in the shoulder.

"Do you know where Hinata is" I asked him. He shook his head no before an evil smile spread across his face

"Well you never answered my question a those months ago. Have you two done it yet" he asked with a grin

"SHUT IT" I yelled as my face began to turn red

"Denial and blushing that's a no but he wants to" Ino said bargain into our conversation. Kiba started laughing as my face turned a deep red

"Guys" I pleaded to them

"It's ok Naruto, Gui sensei tells me it all apart of your yo-" Lee said joining in

"Lee stop" I said to him putting my hand over his mouth. Kiba was now rolling around on the ground laughing as Ino began to snicker at him.

"Oh now you find this funny Ino" I yelled at her " what about you and that boy friend you claim to have have you two had sex" I asked hoping to get a similar reaction to mine, but her face just straitened put as she thought about it for a moment

"Yeah I guess we have" she said with a strait face

"Ugggh" I sighed before a stormed away.
