Falling to pieces

*Naruto's POV

I drove my Rasengan into Kurama's chest driving him deep into his cage. As my attack died down I grabbed on to his chakra and pulled with everything I had left. I was winning the fight until Kurama recovered from my attack and began pulling back. I was now struggling to keep my own chakra. I was about to lose when I felt a hand brush over my shoulder. I looked up to see Asuma sensei sanding over my shoulder. I felt someone on my other shoulder and I looked to the other side to see Jiraiya standing on the other side of me. And finally, I felt someone ruffle my hair. I looked up to see dad standing behind me. I felt a boost of strength and pulled as hard as I could gaining back all of my chakra and a large chunk of Kurama's chakra.

"Now Eight trigram sealing style: Torii seal" (I think this is what it was called) I said as I clasped my hands together. 14 wooden arches fell from the sky pinning down each of Kurama's tails and his neck along with each paw.

"Damn brat you won't be able to control me," Kurama said as the bars closed as a new seal appeared on the doorway swirling together then locking.

"No I will be able to control your power, but I hope one day I won't need to control you. I hope we will be able to work together and understand each other one day. I said to Kurama with a smile as my mindscape began to fade around me.

"Naruto!" mom exclaimed as she threw her arms around me. I hugged her back as I felt a strange sensation pulsing through my entire body. I let go of her and looked down at my arms and I was glowing yellow.

"What is this," I asked

"That's the true power of a jinchuriki," Mom said as she placed her hand on my cheek "You did it," She said as a tear fell from her eyes.

"I told you I would" I said as I pulled her into a mug. We both walked upstairs and went to our separate rooms. I flopped onto my bed and raised my fist into the air. I watched a yellow chakra washed over my hand. I fell asleep that night with a smile on my face. I woke up the next morning and got ready for any mission I would need to carry out while I am still stuck here.

"Bye mom," I said as I walked out of the door. I got no response back but I shook it off thinking that she must still be asleep. I was walking to team 7 normal meeting spot when I overheard two jonin talking

"I heard that there was a murder last night," One said as they walked by

"Yeah, I heard it was that traitor The Yellow Flash," The other said as they walked out of hearing distance. I stopped dead in my track at the sound of my father's name.

'He is here' I thought I rush began to run faster to the meeting spot. I had to pass the Hokage's office on my way there and as I came up to the building I saw mom walking up to the front door. I quickly hid behind the nearest building as she walked in. I followed her into the massive building and followed her through the familiar halls that lead to the Hokage's office. She rushed in and closed the door behind her. I eavesdropped on her conversation through the door

"Good to see you Kushi-" the Hokage began to say but mom cut him off.

"Skip all the niceties I know why I am here. No, I haven't been in contact with him" She said. I heard Fugaku sigh as his chair moved

"You and your son always interrupting me," He said as I heard a sudden gasp from mom.

"I knew you would say you haven't been in contact with him and why would you. He is to smart to leave me a trail as simple as you" He said as I heard him walk back over to his chair

"Now I called you here to ask about your son," He said. My eyes widened as he continued

"He has been acting strange for the past week or so now hasn't he?" he asked mom. I assume she didn't answer as he continued without a verbal response"

"-And Kakashi tells me that he has learned a new jutsu, two actually. The Rasengan and flying thunder god. Now those are two very difficult jutsus to learn without a master teaching you" He commented as he continued "Now sadly master Jiraiya has since passed leaving only one to know the Rasengan and it just happens he is known for his use of the flying thunder god, so I guess what I am trying to say is has Naruto been in contact with Minato" He said letting the question ring through the room.

"He would-" Mom began to say but it was Fugaku's turn to interrupt her

"Now don't lie to me Kushina I wouldn't want to have to kill such a vital weapon to the leaf," He said

'That bastard' I thought as I clenched my fist

"Naruto would never speak with that man. You know as much as I do how he tries to escape that man's name and legacy" She argued. I heard Fugaku's footsteps again as he walked over to where my mother must have been standing.

"Kushina why do you have to lie," He said. I had spent this whole time gathering nature energy and I felt a sudden rush of chakra to Fugaku's eyes. I teleported into the room grabbing mom and teleporting away. As I grabbed her I looked into his eyes. They glowed red as they stared back at me as I teleported away.

"Why would you do that" Mom yelled as she pushed me as soon as we arrived home

"Hey I just saved your ass" I yelled back

"Yeah well he wouldn't have killed me because that would release the nine tails dumb ass" She yelled as she rushed into the other room and grabbed a lamp and slammed it on the ground

"Hey" I yelled as it shattered on the floor. She looked through the glass shards until she found a small piece of paper.

"Go to this location now and as soon as you get there funnel some of the nine tails chakra into it," She said as she pushed me out the door.

"What will I find here," I asked. She kept pushing me until we were out on the street

"Someone," she said as she looked up and down the street

"But who," I asked again getting a little frustrated. She growled at me before she spoke

"Your father"
