*Naruto's POV

I stormed out of the Hokages office with frustration all over my face. I slowly calmed myself down before I stood out front of the library. Just before I walked in the door I heard someone call me from down the street.

"Hey, Naruto how are you feeling?" Sakura asked as she walked up to me with team eight. They all seemed different. Akamaru had his jaw clamped down on Kiba's rear end, Shino a handful of flies that were buzzing around my head, and Hinata just had this different feel to here. She felt scary as she argued with Sakura over who would be my future wife.

"Yeah I'm feeling fine now if you don't mind I have to be somewhere" I lied as I turned to leave but as I turned around I ran into Shikamaru who greeted me by saying yo as he put his arm over my shoulder

"You have been blowing us off man what's up," He asked

"Shikamaru you are acting obnoxious" Chouji said scolding him.

"I just need to go OK," I said getting a little more anxious around all of them. I ducked under his arm just to be caught by Chouji using his expansion jutsu

"He may have done so rudely but he asked you a valid question Naruto," Chouji said giving me a glare. I jumped over his hand and kept walking away from the group

"No reason just been busy" I lied trying not to look back. I could tell none of them bought my act as I went around to the back side of the library and entered through one of the windows. I landed on the ground and walked over to the front desk where I was met with the girl from the last time I was here sleeping. I tapped her on the shoulder and she shot up

"WeLcOmE To ThE lIbRaRy HoW Can I HelP You," She said as she toppled a stack of books on her desk. I managed to catch most of them before they hit the ground. I placed the books down and picked up the few that fell to the ground.

"It seems like every time we meet I am picking up your mess" I jokingly said but her expression clouded over as she muttered an apology saying how she was here all last night reorganizing the library

"It's ok," I said feeling bad for my comment

""Hey I never caught your name I'm Izumi nice to meet you," She said putting her hand out.

"Naruto," I said shaking her hand

"So same books from earlier," She asked as she pulled out my stack from a few hours earlier.

"Oh yes please," I said as I took the stack and went over to the table. I began with the book on high-level genjutsu's and how to break them.

"You interested in Genjutsu's," Izumi asked as she sat down next to me

"Yes" I replied as I continued to read the book

"You know I could help you with that I am pretty good with Genjutsu's if you need help," She said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah definitely thanks," I said

"Ok then tomorrow at training ground 4," She said

"Sure," I said. Izumi just smiled and walked away. I continued to read until I felt someone pulled out the chair across from me

"What do you want Chouji," I said as I kept my head in my book

"The Naruto I know wouldn't be caught dead in here," I said as he sat down and crossed his arms. "So tell me why are you here," He asked.

"Trying to learn something new," I said as I kept reading. Chouji reached over and grabbed the top of my book taking it from my hands.

"Interworkings of Genjutsu's written by Shisui Uchiha" He read out loud as he read the cover. He looked at the page I was looking at. "If the user cannot break the Genjutsu alone if someone outside the genjutsu can disturb the flow of chakra to break the genjutsu" He read until I snatched the book back

"Like I asked what do you want," I said glaring at him. He leaned forward and looked me in the eyes

"Your not Naruto are you," He asked with suspicion in his voice. I snickered as I stood up with the book in my hand

"You could say that I guess but it's not quite accurate," I said leaving Chouji with more questions than answers. I walked into a quiet house. I went up to my room and lied in my bed looking up at the ceiling. This has all been so strange. I know them but I have been treating them like strangers.

"Hey fox," I said in my mindscape

"What is it now brat" He growled

"any ideas on how to get back to our home," I asked

"Oh so now it's we," He said with a hint of laughter

"Well, I guess since we are both stuck here..." I said trailing off.

"This may be a genjutsu that hasn't been seen in centuries... since the age of the sage of six paths," The fox said

"How do I break it," I asked

"... I don't know" The fox said. I yelled in frustration as I kicked the water.

"I will get out of here and kick Madara's ass as soon as I do" I yelled. I heard the nine tails laugh behind me as I threw my temper tantrum.

"What?" I yelled at him

"Nothing," He said glaring at me with his evil smile. I looked at him for a moment then smiled

"Het nine tails seem like a dumb name do you have a normal one," I asked

"Oh so now that you need me you care," He said crossing his arms

"Well if we are going to be working with-" I began to say before he cut me off

"Kurama. My name is Kurama"
