Silent laughter

The Shukaku

*Naruto's POV

Gaara's entire body was now slowly being engulfed in sand as he screamed out in pain.

"No he can't win" he yelled again as the sand fully covered his body and the mound grew to a monstrous size. The stadium was evacuated by now and the jonin That were helping out with the exams were now in the arena prepared to fight Gaara.

"Lord Kazekage how do we beat him" my father asked as he threw his own kunai around the stadium

"I can usually subdue him with a denser metal but I only brought a gourd full of gold" he said as the gold swirled around him. As an evil laugh echoed through the stadium everyone looked up to see that the Shukaku has now fully taken control over Gaara's body

"Free at last" the Yelled. The Kazekage sent a gold spear towards the tailed beast but it was stoped by a sand bullet sent out of the Shukaku's mouth. The ground erupted and a handful of unlucky shinobi were washed away by a wave of sand. The Kazekage was one of those few unlucky to get swept up.

"Let's get ride of you pest" the beast said as he tightened the sands hold on the trapped shinobi. They screamed out in pain but their screams stopped as I heard my father yell.

"Thunder god two step" he yelled as a giant thunder bolt crashed down from the sky. As the sand swept the others away my father set his plan into action. He could teleport much faster  then me so it seemed like a blink of an eye. With a faster speed he was able to build up more energy and there for a bigger thunder bolt. The bolt smashed into the tailed beasts chest sending it crashing to the ground. He cried out in pain as he stood up.

"Damn that hurt. Now let's get rid of you to twerp" the beast yelled as the sand now chased my father around the arena. I was able to dodge the first sand attack but I had to stay side lined with my arm broken.

'Damn it' I swore to myself as I felt the nine tails chakra flow to my arm to heal it. I stood helplessly as my father was chased left and right trying to dodge the sand.

"Well kit it looks like you need some help" the nine tails said

"Oh is the great nine tails afraid for his tiny little host life now?" I snickered at him

"God if it weren't for this-"

"Damn cage I know you have told me before" I cut him off

"Take my power kit you can't beat him with the power you have felt" he said

"No thanks" I said glaring at him "I can't rampage today" I said to him

"No rampage just chakra" he promised

"Why" I asked him knowing that he always asked for something in return

"Well I am the only one who is going to destroy the village, and if he kills you he will hold that above me for the next millennia" the nine tails said reaching out his paw. A small orb of chakra formed in his hand. I reluctantly reached out and grabbed it. I could feel the rush of power like I have had before but no need for blood

"Thank you Kurama" I said to him. He just snickered and lied back down in the cage.

"Kill that son of a bitch" he said before beginning to snore. When I left my mindscape no more then a second has past. My father was still dodging and I was still on my knees holding my arm. I could feel it again and more it. I could feel the energy radiating off of me as I stood up. The sand grabbed dads foot as he gasped in surprise it began to tighten its hold. I expected my father to teleport away but I now saw the small orbs of sand floating around the arena.

'They must have his kunai in them' I thought. I teleported to the mark I left on my father before the exams began. I placed my hand on his shoulder and teleported ya back to the ground

"How are you able to use you arm" he asked. I held up nine fingers. He looked concerned at first but then I smiled.

"Ok" he said thinking that we need to focus on one problem at a time. "How many kunai do you have?" I reached into my back and pulled out five kunai.

"Damn" he said taking two of them. "Ready" he asked. I nodded and he threw his kunai one way and I threw mine the other way. This split the Shukaku's sand making it chase both of us as we teleported to our kunai grabbing it and teleporting again.

"Damn it twerps get back here" the tail beast screamed.

"Now" dad yelled as he sent a small thunder bolt towards Gaara's head which was now sticking out of the Shukaku. The sand moved from me to guard Gaara since I was closed to the beast. I threw one of my other kunai from where I was denying it into the outer skin of the beast. It began to sink into the sand like shell but I teleported to it ripping it out of the sand before it disappeared. I ran towards Gaara who seemed asleep. The sand engulfed my foot and I was stopped in my advance. I sent a wave of the nine tails chakra threw my feet breaking the sand long enough for me to get my foot out. I kept sending bursts of chakra through my feet until I reached Gaara. I brought my fist back as I punched Gaara in his face sending his head spinning. He didn't wake up. I hesitated and the Shukaku's cans covered my entire body starving me of oxygen. I tried to scream knowing that it was futile. I sent my remaining nine tails chakra flowing through my body and broke the shell in one burst. I ran at Gaara as the sand gathered itself after being sent in all different directions. It chased me as I ran at Gaara again. I wasn't going to be able to punch him since the sand now had a hold of my foot I Fell forward and hit my head against Gaara's. His eyes shot open as I rubbed my head in pain. The Shukaku yelled out seeing that his host was waking up. The sand that made up the beasts body was now falling back to the ground. I began to fall with Gaara but my father teleported to the third kunai I had out of the five and grabbed ya teleporting is to the ground he placed us on the ground as the Kazekage dealt with the beast as it fell to pieces.

'We did it' I thought looking at dad as my vision faded. The last thing I saw until the next day was his proud smile.
