Chunin exams

-Time skip to Chunin exams

*Narutos POV

'Today is the day' I thought in my head as I hurried to get ready for the day. 'Today is the day I show them what Naruto Namikaze-Uzumaki can do' I cheered to myself as I rushed towards the spot I was supposed to meet Kakashi sensei at. I was surprised to see Sasuke and Sakura. My questioning look got their attenetion

"so you thought you were the only one who was going to take the exam" Sasuke sneered as I walked up to them. I glared back at him seeing the truth in his statement. Kakashi sensei showed up a bit later, and gave us the try your best speech.

'I going to win it all' I thought to myself as me and the rest of team seven walked to the exam room. Sakura had a worried look on her face. I placed my hand on her to get her attention. She turned to me and I greeted her with a smile and a thumbs up. This brought a smile to her face as she turned to Sasuke for support to find he wasnt there. He continued walking leaving us behind. We all walked into the academy together to sign up for the exams with our slips. around the second floor we came across a gathering of genin who stood aimlessly around the wrong classroom trying to get in. Two other genins were blocking the door pushing around a boy in a green jumpsuit.

"Idiots" Sasuke said as he pushed through the student. Everyone heard him say it and got really quite as he neared the front of the crowd. Me and Sakura froze thinking the same thing

'ARE YOU CRAZY' I thought as he pushed the kid in the green aside.

"Step aside loser" He said to the guy blocking the door

"No way kid get lost" He said waving his hands at Sasuke motioning for him to leave. I could feel Sasuke's rage building up as he sent a kick flying at the other genin. The other kid went to block it with his own kick as I jumped into action teleporting to Sasuke and catching his kick. I looked over my shoulder to see that the boy in green caught the other boys kick mid air like I did.

"Boys stop fighting" Sakura said pushing her way foward "this isn't even the room we still have to go up another floor" Everyone seemed suprised except me and Sasuke, and the boy that he was fighting with. I smirked and put two fingers releasing the genjutsu for everyone. Sasuke broke free of my grip and stormed away. I helped the boy in green up as he said something along the line of I'm in my youth or something as he rushed of to find Sakura as he told me. I was swarmed by people as Sasuke and Sakura walked off with Rock Lee following them. It took me a while to get away from the group of people questioning me. Everyone there seemed normal except on boy who had a gourd on his back

'I need to watch out for him' I thought as I ran away to find Sasuke and Sakura. I found them just as the fight between Lee and Sasuke finished with Lee's sensei who looked just like him stopped the fight. I ran over to see if Sauske was ok. He just pushed me away in a pissed off way mumbling to himself. I looked over at Sakura who just shrugged he shoulders and ran off after him. I turned around to see Lee's sensei punch him in the face causing him to spin over to me.

"Thank you for helping me" he said before he began saying something about youth again. He ran off with his sensei doing hand stands

'Thank god Kakashi isn't like that' I thought to myself as I ran to catch up with Sauske and Sakura. Sasuke seemed ok after his fight, but he seemed a bit on edge. We walked up to a jonin who handed us each a piece of paper with a number on it, and told us to sit in the chair with that number on it. When I sat down I noticed that they separated us by multiple rows of desks.

"H-Hi Naruto" a quite voice said next to me. I looked over to see Hinata sitting down next to me. I flashed a big smile at her which made her blush. A few more groups funneled in and the test began. Ibiki explained the rules for the test as a few other upper class ninja passed the test out. Once he was done explaining I began my test.

'Damn this is hard' I thought while finishing the first question. 'Some people may have to cheat and not get caught to pass this'. This went on for another hour or so with me leaving two or three questions blank. Ibiki called out that it was time for the final question, and explained the special rule for this question.

"If you chose to take it and get it wrong you will be kicked out of the ninja program" He said smirking 

'Damn that's harsh' I thought looking over at Sasuke, and Sakura. They both looked confident in themselves so I didn't even think about bowing out. I could hear Hinata quivering next to me. I looked over just in time to see her raising her hand. I quickly raised mine pulling her hand down. This shocked her and made her gasp. I held her hand and gave her a grin like no other. Her face went so red I thought it might explode, but her shaking stopped and she looked ok now. I continued to hold her hand as a handful of student walked out on the test. 

(We can do this) I mouthed to her. She nodded at me, and then looked at Ibiki as he said we all passed the first part of the exam. Hinata gasped hearing that she passed, so I jumped up and gave her a hug. This was all she could take she passed out in my arms. My sweat dropped as a body came crashing through the window before Ibiki finished his speach.

"Alright maggots it's about to get a crap ton harder from her on out now make your way to the forest of death" A lady yelled at us as we all fumbled our way out the door
