Silent laughter

The Akaski strike part 2

Naruto's POV

'I promise I will bring you back Gaara' I thought as the mood dimmed again after Lady Chiyo punched Kakashi sensei. I need to find Gaara and soon before they extract the one tail from him. I knew what the Akaski's intentions were due to my many encounters with them over the past two years with Master Jiraiya. My train of thought was broken by Lady Chiyo walking back into the room with Sakura

"Ok boy take us to the hide out" She said. I nodded and ran out the door hoping that she would be able to keep up. We ran for about one night until we came to a large bolder with a large arc made out of wood surrounding it. I pointed to it noticing that there were some extra seals on the oor compared to the last time I was here.

"So this is it Naruto" Kakashi asked. I nodded my head yes as he summoned one of his ninja hounds

"Yeah I can defiantly smell at least three people in there" The small dog said

"Wait what do you mean at least. Acording to our intel there were only two of the plus Gaaa makes three" Sakura said

"I don't know the seals mess with my sense of smell, but your friend is in there with at least two other people if not more" The small dog said

"Thank Pakoon"Kakashi said as the dog dissapeared in a cloud of smoke

"MY ETERNAL RIVAL" We heard someone scream from behind us. Lady Chiyo jumped into an attack position while the rest of us sighed

'Dad did you have to send them' I thought turning around to see Gui sensei with his team standing there. Do't get me wrong they are very nice and fun people, but this does not seem like the kind of mission for most of them at least *cough cough* Gui and Lee *cough cough*'

"Gui good to see you" Kakashi said as he greeted his friend. as a group we walked up to the large bolder that stood between us and Gaara. 

"Ok Gui your team has you mission we will be here for when you remove the seals" Kakashi said

"Got it" They all said in unison as they jumped in opposite directions.

"Sakua do you think you can smash that boulder when the time comes" Kakashi asked

"Oh yeah just wait and see" She said fixing her gloves

^Kakashi we are in position^ we heard over the com system

"Ok on my count 3...2...1...pull!" kakashi exclaimed "Go Sakura now" he said as Sakura charged at the boulder and punched it. There was a moments delay before the boulder's intergity began to fail and it cracked into hundreds of pieces. Team Kakashi rushed into the cave to find Gaara lying on the ground with a blond haired boy around 19 or so sitting on top of him

"Oh look Sasori guests" He said as he stood up showing off his black cloak with red clouds on it 

"What a nuisance" The man that must have been Sasori said. I didn't hesitate any more, I threw one kunai at each of them. Sasori blocked it with his tail like contraption while the younger one just moved his head to the side

"Child's play" He said before I teleported to the kunai punching him in the chest making him fall over Gaara's limp body

"Dedira did you forget everything Madara told us before we left" Sasori asked sarcastically to his partner 

"Yeah yeah the brat can teleport so what I won't fall for it next time" Dedira said reaching his hand into his pockets. "Now lets see what they think of my art" He said opening his hand reveiling two bug like creatures made out of clay. They popped to life and flew at me and Kakashi with an inhuman speed. I teleported to Kakashi and grabbed him teleporting us outside

"Thanks" He said as a clay dragon flew out of the cave and into the sky.

(After him) I said as I rushed down stream to chase after him. I could see the limp body of Gaara swinging in the tail of the beast. Me and Kakashi chased him for what felt like forever until Kakashi spoke up,

"Naruto I have a plan but I only have one shot at this for now" He said. I nodded and listened to his plan until it came time to put it in action. I ran ahead a bit and threw a kunai hoping to hit the dragons under belly. Dedira swerved the clay creation to the side to dodge the kunai 

"Missed me" He gloated. All I did was smile at him as I heard Kakashi call out

"Kamui" He said as a small black hole appeared beside Dedira and sucked his arm in. He screamed out in pain as Kakashi eye began to bleed and the black hole dispersed. Dedira was still alive but has now lost both his arms. We were informed that the had lost one arm in his fight with Gaara. Weakened from blood loss the dragon slowly descended until it crashed into a patch of trees. Me and Kakashi walked over to see a struggling Dedira trying to get out from under the clay mound that was once a dragon. I threw one kunai to where Gaara was and grabbed him from the clay mound. No heart beat. We were to late. I could feel a tear forming in my eye as I placed Gaara down by Kakashi sensei. I turned around to see Dedira still struggling to get free.

"Damn it" He swore. I threw my kunai at him, but this time I didn't plan on missing. The kunai plunged into his throat where blood now oozed from the fresh wound. More blood came out as he tried to take a deep breath out. I teleported right in front of him and stared him down I looked into his eyes as a steady steam of blood now flowed from his throat and mouth. 

'Why does this feel so right' I thought as the last of the color drained from his eyes. I pulled him kunai out which made the blood squirt out and cover my oants

"Naruto?" I heard someone say from behind me. I turned around to see Lady Chiyo and Sakura standing near Kakshi sensei. 

"Are you OK" Sakura asked as she stared at a now lifeless Dedira. I slowly nodded my head yes knowing that it was all a lie. He was dead because of me.

'Thats just one more life that I needed to take to reach my goal'
