*Tsunade's POV

I snatched the scrolls out of the messenger ninja's hands and began to read them

"Get the village elders here now" I barked out. The ninja bowed and rushed out the door

"Naruto leaves us please you will be informed after I meet with the elders," I asked Naruto. He nodded his head and left.

'Damn it' I thought to myself as I paced around my office waiting for the council to get here. Lord Homura and Lady Koharu were the first to come in.

"Why the sudden urgency Lady Tsunade" Koharu grumbled as she sat down

"We were just about to have some nice tea," Homura said next. I stopped pacing and walked over to my chair and sat down.

"The Raikage has invited everyone to the land of iron for a five kage summit," I said. The cheerful mood of the room disappeared at that moment.

"What for?" Homura asked breaking the silence

"The Raikage is questioning if the leaf has any ties to the Akatsuki," I said

"But that's absurd there have been plenty of times the nine tails was almost captured. The last attempt lead to the death of the Fourth Hokage" Homura barked

"I don't know why this is coming to question now" I mumbled

"So why to call us here Tsunade," Koharu asked. I gritted my teeth as I slammed my fist onto the table.

"I don't know what to do" I growled

"Make the leaf seem strong," a new voice said from the doorway. Everyone looked up to see a man with a cloth covering half of his face walk through the door

"Thanks for showing up Danso" Koharu growled at him

"The leaf needs to seem strong and united. If not then the other villages will most likely take action. The presence of the Fourth Hokage was enough to keep the cloud and the stone at bay for almost fifteen years" Danso said pulling over a chair.

"When is the summit," Hamura asked

"three days," I said as I processed what Danso said.

'You need to bring a small yet capable group of ninja with you to the summit to prove our strength" Konaru

"The nine tails should go with you" Danso suggested.

"True his resemblance to his father may frighten off the stone and cloud along with keeping good relations with the sand," I said. The other two elders nodded in agreement. Danso was the first to stand up to leave. Before he walked out the door he turned and looked at me.

"Lady Tsunade the survival of the peace created by Lord Third and Fourth is at stake here. Tread carefully at this summit" He said before walking away

"He may sound rude but what he says is true. This summit may lead to a few more years of peace or an all-out war against the land of fire" Homura said as he stood up. Koharu followed as she wished me good luck at the meeting. The two of them left leaving me alone in my office.

'The peace of the great nations relies on this summit going well' I thought as I stood up needing a drink about now. As I stepped out the door I looked at my desk and I could have sworn I saw Lord Third sitting in the chair doing paperwork with Minato standing over his shoulder. I snickered as I closed the door

'I must continue their legacy and continue to foster peace between the great nations' I thought

*Naruto's POV

I woke up early the next morning with my alarm going off. After yesterday one of Lady Tsunade's personal ANBU came up to me with a message. I was to report to her office at 5:00 in the morning for a mission briefing. I got dressed in my orange tee-shirt and my Chunin vest. I wrapped my headband around my head and teleported to here office. Tsunade was already there with a few packed bags next to her.

"Good your here," She said looking up from a mound of paperwork on her desk.

"Morning," I said with a smile. She didn't smile back which made me a little concerned.

"We head out to the land of iron in one hour. Pack warm clothes and plenty of tools" She said as she wrote something down

"Why are we going to the land of iron," I asked her

"The Raikage has called a five Kage summit there," She said looking at me for the first time. I nodded before I teleported back home packing all of the necessary gear for the trip. I waited at the front gate for Lady Tsunade. I zone out for a few moments before I was startled by Shikamaru sitting down next to me

"You're going to the land of iron too," He said in a grin tone

"Yeah," I said quietly thinking about what this meeting could be about. Lady Tsunade showed up a few minutes later.

"Let us go," she said walking through the gates.

'This is bad' I thought as we walked in silence.

"We should hurry through the trees and try to get to the border before nightfall" I offered. Tsunade shook her head no before responding

"No we are staying at a secret location a few kilometers away from the border we can hurry the next morning," She said

'This is really, really bad' I thought to notice how nervous Tsunade was. I glanced at Shikamaru who seemed to notice too.

"Lady Tsunade what is this really about," I asked her. She shot a glance at me that would have silenced anyone else but I was determined

"The cloud believes that leaf is using the Akatsuki to gain all of the tailed beasts," She said as she broke her glare

"Why would they think that," Shikamaru asked. There was silence before he answered

"Because of a mistake, your father made Naruto"
