I breathed in the cold morning air. There was no getting used to this, at all. From the cold prison walls to the loud cell gates and the unimaginably stale scent of the wet, mouldy corners of an old building. Everything was so monotoned, they had developed their own shades of the same shade, and I was left staring into this colourless abyss for so long; it seemed I could tell the difference. The tips of my fingers had become numb as I traced them across the dirt swollen ground, which left a clean streak across the dirty patch of floor. Disgust filled my mind as my eyes consumed the image, but something inside of me didn't care that this was a disease waiting to happen.
"Up and at em, time to go." a guard sang as he entered into my prison cell, the bars of the door shifting with a loud clang.
"Where to?" I questioned as he merely nodded his head towards the outside of the cell. "You've got a very important date. Which you really cannot miss. It's a bit of a haste, but it'll get you there. So quit yapping and let's go." He breathed out irritably as he took hold of my arm and walked me towards the station, away from the holding cells. The bright lights hit me immediately as I saw proper colour and interiors of a nice building for the first time in a long time.

The station was barely busy. A little too calm to be a police station I might add. Each step I took echoed through the room, like the thumping of your heartbeat racing. "Why am I here?"
"Not here miss. We are heading to the courthouse." He instructed. "Bosses orders. It's the fastest I had ever seen them work." He muttered with a chuckle as I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you talking about am I free?"

"Free? After this you'll be more locked down than ever actually." He chuckled once more and I rolled my eyes as we stepped out and headed towards a small courtroom, in it sat all of the boys and Abigail. A few burly guards and police officers at the ready surrounded the area. And a priest stood firmly as I entered. "What the hell is this?" I questioned, too confused and worried to make any sense of what was happening. "This I take it is the bride?" The priest spoke boldly with the tiniest of smiles, at that precise moment, almost as if on cue - my jaw dropped wide open. "Bride?" I asked a little too loudly as Harry stood up and nodded holding his cuffed hands out to me. I furrowed my eyebrows moving forward, staring at the people surrounding me. All their faces laced with curiosity, wonder, anger here and there, but crazily enough. None looked surprised but mine.

I took hold of Harry's hand and cleared my throat. "I...I didn't know when you said we should get married that you meant the very next day." I mumbled softly, barely audible. "These available times weren't ideal. It was either today or a month from now...And I wasn't sure I would still be here by then. So...do you wanna do this? Here. Now. Everyone is here. All we need is your permission." He concluded as he looked around the room slowly then back to me. I let out a shaky breath and smiled slightly at the gesture. "Let's do this."

The priest began with a short prayer, then went on to begin. It had hardly been anything I had ever imagined my wedding to be. It was never even a thought. Yet here I was. Listening to a priest give me away to my kidnapper...funny how these things turn out.. "And finally Do you Monique, take Harry to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, for better or worse, until death do you part?"
"I do." I mumbled with a small smile as I watched Harry's jittery hands try to keep still. "And you Harry? Do y-"
"- Yeah I do. Let's get moving." He muttered as he clenched his jaw looking down at the ground breathing out slowly. "Alright then. Place the rings on Each others fingers." I furrowed my eyebrows, what rings? How could we possibly have any rings. The priest then held out two rings which I hesitantly took as we put them in one another. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
Harry's face went pale as he lifted his head and looked at me. I could see the nervousness on his face. This was something too vulnerable for him too soon to be dealing with in front of all these people. In all this time not once had we purposefully kissed in front of these people. He hesitated as he gathered himself and had some kind of internal battle. I gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and pecked his lips as he flushed red and turned away. The boys clapped standing up as the security guard came back up to me. The other taking Harry.

"You have to sign the papers and we will be back to the cell for you. Congratulations by the way." He smiled wholeheartedly as I nodded walking to the table and placing my signature on the certificate. This was nothing like I had imagined it to be or feel like, but I was happy nevertheless. The thought saddened me at the same time however, with the possibility of never seeing my husband still out there I don't think I could rest.

"Hey, you Okay? I know that was really quick and bothersome for you I ju-"
"-are you satisfied? It was the best I could do on such short notice." He interrupted as he placed the pen down and turned his head towards me. "Yeah of course I am. I'm delighted...It's just. It's bitter sweet y'know." I half smiled at him as he frowned slightly nodding knowingly. "Don't worry about it...I've got the situation under control. After the hearing tomorrow everything will be fine."
"The what?!" I whisper-yelled as I tried not to draw attention to myself. "Harry how the hell is the hearing tomorrow? It's been less than two weeks Harry the case is still going on, we need more time to back up before they sentence you with too much evidence stacked against you."
"Shut up. You trust me?"
"Yeah I do but Harry this is suicide. How could you have them move it up like this? We had a good couple of months to prepare. Is this even legal?" I questioned quietly as he rolled his eyes. "What did I say about questions. Just do as told. And be quiet. Remember what you are now. You're my wife. And tomorrow. You'll play the part accordingly. I need to see tears, but don't get yourself kicked out. Just trust me." He muttered quietly as he stepped away and headed towards the guard. I turned my attention to where Louis, Niall and Abigail were stood, all of them seemed pissed. Zayn and Liam stood on the other side of the room glancing at Harry as he walked past giving an appreciative nod.

Nothing about this situation made sense.
