Harry's smirk intrigued me in ways I couldn't quite explain. It had seemed as though everything around us had slowed down. I knew then that he had a plan. I furrowed my eyebrows at him, I should have never underestimated this man. The room suddenly went silent as the gavels pounding took over everyone's hearing. "Order! There will be order in this courtroom!" the judge demanded, voice booming as he did so. The jury remained firm in their actions as the judge directed his attention towards them. Not a hush was heard as the words left the juror's mouth. "Not guilty."
An array of astonished gasps and murmurs were made, my heart was at a standstill. "HOW! HOW THE HELL IS THIS POSSIBLE, THE EVIDENCE WAS TIGHT, THEY ADMITTED TO IT HOW THE HELL ARE THEY NOT IN JAIL ALREADY HOW COULD YOU HAVE SPED THIS UP! THIS IS LUDACRIS!" Hunter yelled as he pounded onto the chair and stood to his feet. "Get this man out of my courtroom!" the judge scolded pointing towards Hunter with his gavel. "This is injustice! I demand justice! This is a corrupt system!" he screamed, while several officers held him down and escorted him out of the courtroom. Everyone was up in arms upon the news that the boys were free, with so much left undone, it was obvious something fishy had happened. It was just that no one was sure what. As we left the courtroom everything became a blur of flashes and screaming. I held onto my arms in an attempt to shield myself from the craziness surrounding me. I felt my arm being pulled harshly, I let out a yelp of pain and fear all mangled up in one and tried to fight back. Only to end up in the back seat of an SUV. "What the...guys?" I questioned, slightly or rather, highly out of breath from the whole ordeal as I took a look around the car, where all the boys and Abigail were seated. "But how-"
"No time to explain, we need to get out of here, now." Harry muttered nodding his head towards the road, urging Liam to start the car as I frowned. "But my parents, the courtroom."
"Monique, either we leave now, or you stay. Make your choice." Zayn piped up. I frowned turning my head towards the commotion outside, my family nowhere to be seen. "Fine." I sighed as the car started speeding for anywhere, but here. "So...How's the new married couple." Louis smirked as Harry shot his head towards him. "Louis shut the fuck up, don't think I forgot.""Now, now boys. Let's not get ourselves back into trouble, we just got out of enough. I say we take a break." Zayn grinned laying back in his seat, arms folded behind his head as his eyes shut happily. "And you sourpuss? Upset that things didn't work out like you had wanted?" Harry faked sympathy pouting his bottom lip at Abigail who had rolled her eyes. "Nice to see how quickly your own will turn against you around here. And that goes for all of you." Harry was serious now, his face void of all emotion as he looked around the van, then his eyes landed on me, "All, of you."
A frown laced my face while he looked at me, his cold stare was unnerving. "Harry, I hadn't-"
"No, no, no; you had doll face. The minute you valued that scumbag over us and made me risk everything for you, then put your mouth on this douche for it," he motioned towards Louis, getting worked up even more. "I didn't make you do an-"
"You made me do it and you know it, you manipulative bitch! I trusted you, and you let me down. You can say goodbye to your little prince charming. Harry's back now." He growled turning his attention back to the road. "Not a word further. We need to concentrate on the road. But first, a stop." He grinned as Liam stopped at a gas station. The day was hot, the air thick enough to choke on. I rolled down my window staring at the way he walked, his posture, the way he charmed everyone he needed something from. His smile he forced onto his chiselled face as he thanked the cashier. The sun heated every inch of my face, being locked down so long had made me miss this. My eyes darted away as Harry's stare caught mine, he shook his head and made his way towards the SUV once more, bag in hand. "Snacks and water for the trip." He made himself comfortable in his seat, "Where to now?" Liam questioned starting the car up. "201." He grinned to himself as he placed his feet on the dashboard of the car, draped his arm out of the window and lit a cigarette between his fingers, resting his head back as the wind danced through the strands of his hair.
