"Where are the girls?" Louis questioned walking in from the beach, thoroughly covered in sand. "They've gone out to get the coal and wood about two hours ago." Harry shrugged taking a sip of the beer in his hands, his fingers melting the little ice crystals which had formed around the bottle of the frosty liquid. "That's quite a long time to get coal and wood don't you think?" Louis' gaze rested on Harry's face, eager for a response. But a mere shrug was all that Harry had given. "You're really calm about this. Usually you would be on your way to get them by now." He shrugged once more, annoyance suddenly seeping in. "I called, they aren't answering their phones." He muttered under his breath, his lips fanning the head of the bottle, before gulping down another sip. "I'm sorry, I didn't hear that. What did you say?" Louis taunted with a sly grin playing at his mouth, he couldn't help but egg Harry on. "I said I called but they aren't picking up." Harry's voice had risen by a few decibels, and he had gotten slightly more aggressive now. "Oh. I see." Louis mumbled, smile now hidden behind a false sense of worry. "Well...you're really taking it easy on them now huh? Softening up more like...are they taking advantage of you? What if they made a run for it, and now she's carrying your baby. Running off with your baby."
"Louis," Harry cut in, slightly softer this time, his mind trailing to the thought.
"No...what if its far worse, she's not running away. Oh no, they are having a blast meeting up with her other boyfriend. Maybe it's not even your baby, actually." Louis chuckled with a cocked brow.
"Louis! Shut up!" Harry warned, slamming the bottle down onto the counter. Louis barely took a step back, merely grinned and lifted his hands up in retreat. "All I am saying mate, don't trust your little play toy so easily." Harry heaved a heavy sigh and held onto the counter tightly, his knuckles resembling the white marble, the air had gotten somewhat colder in the kitchen now. The kitchen Harry hadn't left since breakfast.

As if on cue, Liam had swept inside. His shirt clung to his body like latex. "Damn, there is a hell of a pile up further down the road, a huge accident happened an hour or so ago apparently."
"What? Did you see the car?" Harry's breath hitched in his throat, trying to swallow down his stress. "No, some girls told me along the way. So much for taking a drive out." Liam had mumbled, shrugging off the shirt and throwing it aside. "Fuck," Harry stuttered dodging the island in the kitchen as he darted out of the house in a haste, Louis following shortly after. "What's the matter mate?" he questioned watching as Harry turned around briskly, forehead already starting to prickle with sweat under the heat and worry. "What if it them, what if that's why neither of them are answering their phones. I need to go find the car!" his breathing has become irregular now. "Mate, hang on, I'm coming." Louis mumbled, chasing after the running man. What was the point in taking a car when there was no way they could get any closer to the scene with traffic in the way. Harry's cheeks stained red, as fatigue stepped in and worked its way through his body. His running slowing down ever so slightly as he neared the first sign of traffic.

Louis jogged up next to him and leant down gripping his knees as he huffed, "Okay, where the fuck are we gonna look? Are we just going to walk by each car down this mile-long road and hope to find them?" his sarcasm was apparent, but it seemed to be the best and only idea to Harry. Without a second thought Harry had made his way between the traffic, eyeballing inside every car, greeting a few people he recognised on the way. For what seemed like an hour of endless waves of cars, he started nearing the crash site. Debris everywhere, two cars had crashed in a head on collision, shattered glass and the smell of gas was apparent as the police and some firemen tended to the cars. Harry's heart raced at a pace he wasn't used to anymore, he had experienced adrenaline, but never a fear of this nature. With the boys It was different, they could protect themselves, neither of them had been in a car crash to his knowing however, this would be a first experience for him, a terrible one. No car seemed familiar the closer and closer he got, there was no other road out of this place, they had to be here. Tears had begun to blur his vision, but they were quickly swept away by his palm, quick to regain his dignity. "Harry! You need to calm the fuck down mate, take a breather fuck." Louis groaned catching up to a paler-than-usual Harry. "Louis I don't fucking see the car, what if they're in that wreck?" with his teeth gritted and his knuckles clenched he grabbed onto Louis' shirt angrily, a loose strand of hair gracing his wet forehead. Louis shoved Harry's arms off and regained his composure. "This is what that fucking girl does to you. Snap out of it!"
Harry's stare lingered on Louis, his breath stopping as he raised a tightened fist slowly, only to drop it once more. Turning on his own actions as his back faced Louis once more and he ducked down looking for the familiar car.

Then something had caught his sight, the same bright yellow bumper sticker on the car window he and Liam had placed on years before. Nearly toppling over, he slid his way over the front of the car beside him and made for his own. The girl's still intact. Harry bent down opening the front door hastily and dragged a panicked Monique out of the car, tightly into his embrace. "What the... What the hell? Harry what are you doing here?" She muttered quietly, confusion clear in her face as he pulled away. "What is going on?" Abigail mumbled cautiously as she stepped out of the car turning to Louis, then Harry. "Psycho here thought you guys were in the accident." Louis cleared, leaning against the car, Harry merely shot him a look, the worry now fading. "I'm fine, Harry." Monique mumbled quietly, taking a step back from his grasp, only one thing still connecting the two, Harry's wavering palm over her fleshy stomach. "I'm gonna be better." He swallowed with a small frantic nod, pulling her back into his chest, his heartrate decreasing back to its normal state.
