The music from inside of the club was vibrant and loud and danced through the walls of the building. It was heard from a distance before they had actually reached the club. "Its packed tonight." Liam spoke up nodding towards the lengthy line outside of the club doors. "I'll handle it." Harry muttered tossing his cigarette out of the window after killing it. Liam parked the car as Niall pulled up beside him in the other one. "Stay here until I come back." Harry turned to face Monique as he stepped out of the car and closing the door in one movement, he walked fixing his jacket until he reached the bouncer.
From where Monique was sat in the car, watching the nightlife, the drunks leaving and stumbling outside and the colourful lights flickering from inside; she could only see Harry with a small grin as he spoke to the hefty bouncer. His charm was unmatched that much was certain. "You're gonna look after that kid." Liam suddenly muttered, it was just the two of them in the car. "Excuse me?"
"I said you're going to look after that child you're carrying." He repeated, his tone now more stern and direct. "This has nothing to do with you firstly and secondly who are you to even assume I wouldn't look after my own-"
"Monique. I'm not saying this for you or to start anything. I'm saying this because you have a lot going against you right now. More than he knows." Liam gestured towards Harry who was still chatting to the bouncer, "and you got yourself into this mess. Now I don't agree with how you went about this, but I look out for Harry's interests. And this child, its gonna mean more to him than you think. And its gonna be harder than you think, harder than it normally would be as a new parent. No matter what it takes, look after that kid. And look after Harry... I'm asking this time." He shifted in his seat, looking at her through the front mirror of the car. His eyes pleading almost. Monique nodded feverently, "I, yeah...I promise." Liam nodded his head slowly and ran a finger over his lip as he shifted his gaze from the woman in his back seat and stared at Harry, who was now making his way back to the car, stopping first to speak to Niall in the other car.The door opened as Harry ducked down and placed his hand out, "C'mon, let's go." He muttered to Monique as she took hold of his hand and stepped out of the car, immediately fixing her dress and pulling it down as it had ridden up slightly in the car. He placed his arm around her waist, his hand protectively blocking her stomach whilst they walked through the hustle and bustle of people. Everyone made their way to the doors, entering immediately, much to the dismay of the other clubbers waiting in line. The loud music and lights bounced from wall to wall inside of the busy club. There was something about this place that wasnt like the other places Monique had seen. It was more refined than usual. "Pina colada?" Harry mumbled over the noise of the club, stopping at the bar. Monique widened her eyes at him as he chuckled, "Virgin, of course." He clarified, earning a nod from her whilst her ordered the drinks, getting a whiskey sour for himself.
"You wanna go follow the guys I'll bring the drinks, you can go sit up at the sofas with them." He mumbled fixing his hair as he leaned on the bar counter. "No, I'd rather wait here with you." If she was being honest she was nervous, she was still iffy about tonight and all these people, after not seeing much of anyone besides Harry and the others – it was a lot. "How'd you get us into the V.I.P booth anyway?" She muttered glancing over at the exclusively decorated area. "I have my ways..." he grinned, "...was any of it illegal?" Her hesitance was clear, and Harry sensed it in her posture, her voice, her question. He rolled his eyes, clearly becoming irritated. "No, nothing illegal, fucks sakes don't you trust me?" He spat, his eyes wild as he spoke through gritted teeth. "I...no, I do... I do, I'm sorry." Her voice went weak as she cleared her throat and sat down on one of the bar stools. Mentally cursing herself for asking anything at all. Harry's face softened slightly as he clenched his jaw, feeling somewhat empathetic towards her due to his outburst. He placed his hand on hers intertwining their fingers as it rested on her warm lap. She looked up at him in relief and squeezed his ring clad fingers softly in appreciation. "Right, here you go one whiskey sour and one virgin pina colada. The ciders will be over shortly." The bartender smiled, handing the glasses over. "Thanks, mate." Harry muttered heading over to the seated section leading Monique ahead of him with drinks in hand.
