Cruel? Sick? Twisted? Wrong? Well newsflash baby girl that’s what all the meat looks like before you enjoy it on your dinner plate.” He sassed with a small chuckle As I sighed, “Liam! Bring the butchers knife!” Zayn yelled from outside as my heart sped up slightly. “Coming. Why don’t you bring me that bucket over there.” He asked motioning over to the bucket under the sink. I went for the offer since he rarely ever asks anyone anything. He was kind of a dark horse. I carried it out to the back yard as he grabbed a container and the butchers knife heading for Niall and Harry. Everyone was standing around the lamb carcass, I couldn’t have imagined I’d feel this sick to my stomach as they started hacking apart the animal and skinning it. Blood gushed everywhere and all the organs were thrown into the bucket.

“Monique I need the old dishcloth hanging above the sink. Quickly.” Harry mumbled trying to stop the blood from leaking onto the floor. I mentally gagged and fetched the cloth, bringing it back. “Wipe off the inside I need to see if there’s any more insides I need to Take out.” He muttered as I placed my hand inside of the lambs split open stomach. I couldn’t help but gag and fight back my own insides from exiting my body. “Seriously?” He asked looking to Me and yanking the cloth away. “Go get your hands cleaned off miss priss. I’ll handle this.” He sighed doing the job himself. I frowned hugging my arms, heading inside and washing my hands. “Are you alright?” I jumped in shock as Zayn walked in crossing his arms across his chest as he leaned against the doorframe.

“Uhm…mhm. Just cleaning up my hands.” I frowned as my heart sunk, seeing that, them brutalizing that poor animal. I just felt kind of empty. “I’m sorry you had to see that. I guess we’re just so used to it, it didn’t appear Anyone else could find it…”

“…horrifying?” I questioned wetting my face and going for the door but he blocked me. “Zayn please move.”

“I’m sorry you have to go through this…I really feel like a complete idiot. I feel guilty that you’re constantly going through this.” His words were softened, he seemed genuine, it gave me some hope. Then I remembered what Abigail told me. I lost hope again. Trust no one. “I…I am just fine thank you. Why would you care in the first place.” I sighed leaving him standing there as I went up to the room and sat down on Harry’s bed. I wanna go home. I miss my family, friends…even my annoying neighbors. I wanna feel safe again. Sleep calmly for the first time in weeks. Go to school, have a normal life. I want to be free. Too lost in my own thoughts I felt hot tears streaming down my cheeks and blurriness enveloping my vision.

A loud knock on the door alerted me immediately that it wasn’t Harry. He cared neither for privacy or me, so he would walk into his room regardless of what I was doing. “Its Zayn. The foods done,” he mumbled through the door, I sighed. What was with this guy?

“I’m not hungry.” I spoke confidently, but my stomachs growl disproved my statement. “Come on. Harry said you had to.” He sighed. With that I got up instantly, my body was already so used to obeying whatever he said or risk having a beat down. I opened the door and headed down as the boys all stood around the barbeque plating up the meat. I gagged slightly as I stared at the meat. Nothing was wrong with it, just I couldn’t stop picturing that lamb being skinned and blood oozing everywhere. “Everything okay?” Abby asked as she walked towards me snapping her fingers In front of my face. “Y-Yeah. No I’m great.” I smiled softly as the boys moved to the lounge and all sat down with their food. Harry gave me a plate and sat next to me. He didn’t look like he was so bad when he was in his own place, but the minute someone set him off he was…nothing short of psychotic. “Eat your food.” He mumbled as I frowned.
