The morning, much like any other had come in brightly through the windows of the room and the noise downstairs was increasing by the second. "What the fuck are these idiots up to..." Harry sighed from beside me, only just now removing the pillow from his face. I felt the bed dip as he sat up and made his way inside. I closed my eyes once more and held onto the pillow, turning on my side, attempting to fall asleep once more. "Monique!" Harry yelled from downstairs and I sighed rolling my eyes, getting up and making my way downstairs holding my arms to shelter from the sudden cold morning air. I walked inside to find Zayn and Louis laughing hysterically with Harry stood in front of them in the kitchen, a pot upside down on the floor and the top cupboard open. "What's happened in here?" I questioned crossing my arms, "Zayn dropped the pot when he took it out of the cupboard." Louis muttered between breaths, trying to calm himself. Harry seemed flustered, "Why the laughing then?" I mumbled raising a brow at them. "They're laughing because you made an abnormally fucking large hickey on my neck that I can't cover up. I told you not to go overboard because I didn't do this stuff!" he scolded holding his neck, unsuccessfully covering the purple bruising. I held back a chuckle looking away nodding, "It's not that bad," I smiled looking back at him. "It is!" he muttered holding up Louis' phone checking his neck in the camera. "I told you, people are going to know you're mine." I shrugged chuckling, the boys continued to laugh, more about Harry's reaction than the actual bruise itself. I had never seen him flustered before or embarrassed like this. I liked it. "I'll be on the deck." I smiled going outside, breathing in the fresh air, taking a seat on the deck chair, "Good morning." I smiled over at Abigail who had just walked up from the beach, dusting the sand off of her feet. "Morning," she smiled back, "The water is fricking freezing, I was going to try, but I wouldn't do that to myself." She sighed dropping herself down on the chair.

"Where's Niall?" I asked shielding my eyes from the rising sun. "He's gone out to get drinks, just left a few minutes ago. So, I decided to go for a walk." I nodded, "How are you feeling, you go to the doctor yet?" I whispered quietly, she shook her head flicking the specks of sand off of her leg as she sat. "I need to find a way to go without anyone noticing. I'm still not sure."

"Oh, okay. We'll figure something out." I mumbled, "How's Harry treating you since he heard the news?" she asked focusing her attention on me, I scrunched up my nose and furrowed my eyebrows, then chuckled. "He treats me just the same."

"And after you coming home crying, what was that about?" I sighed shaking my head, Harry was meeting with Red early in the morning and I followed, turns out he only married me for them, to show them some type of commitment? I don't know. So, we could get out of jail. It doesn't make sense though, why would that make them bust him out? What does our marriage do?" my eyebrows furrowed, and I looked up to her, her eyes went slightly wider, shaking her head at me. "Wow...Must be tough huh? I mean, I...I would do whatever I could to help if you needed." She frowned. I nodded, it sucked but it wasn't something I could exactly just get over or change. "Yeah, it's whatever." I muttered staring at the scenic ocean view, the water touching the shore only to be dragged right back. Reminded me of him. "Anyway, what about this baby thing?" Abigail asked, breaking the silent tension which had suddenly taken over the air between us. "Uh...well, I don't know. He's going to know it's not true eventually...I mean I can't pretend forever." I sighed, "Excuse me?" I turned my head, my eyes shot wide open. "L-Liam...Hey, what are you doi-"
"What's all this about your pregnancy being a lie?" he spat, whisper yelling at me, Abigail stood up quickly, "Liam, listen it's complicated, please I will explain it to you later, okay?" she tensed, holding onto his elbow, he yanked it away from her. "No, what the fuck kind of sick joke is this! How the fuck do you think it is in any way okay to fake starting a family with a man who never had his?" Liam seemed livid, I frowned feeling the guilt wash over me. "Liam, I didn't intend for it really,"

"Then why not tell him the truth huh? Why did you let Niall lie like that in front of everyone?" he growled stepping closer to me, out of fear I backed away. "Niall overheard okay, Abigail was talking to me and said she thought she was and then I had to think of something and told him we were talking about me, he seemed pissed off when he thought it was Abigail." I frowned, "Please understand Liam, please. I didn't do it to intentionally hurt him I swear."

"You're going to tell him, or I will." He mumbled shaking his head with a sigh. "Please don't. I will, I just gotta figure out how to without hurting or angering him," I bit my lip, looking at the floor. "It better be fucking soon. You have no idea what shit you could have just caused for him." He rolled his eyes as he made his way inside angrily, "Oh God, are you okay?" Abby frowned walking over to me, hugging me softly, I frowned nodding. "Yeah...yeah I'm fine. We need to sort this out, soon. Or it will all blow up in both our faces."

She heaved a sigh, taking a deep breath as she pulled away, "Look, Monique I need to tell you something important,"

"Monique!" Harry called from inside, my eyes went wide, my heart dropped, and I had internally prayed Liam hadn't said anything. "Can we talk later, I need to go see what he needs," I gave a small smile, she nodded as I walked inside of the house, making my way to Harry. "Hey...You called," I swallowed the lump in my throat, staring at Harry's crossed arms, while Liam stood behind him leaning against the counter, inspecting my every move. "Hm?" I asked nervously, playing with my fingers behind my back. "Would you like to eat?"

"Oh...I'm not exactly hungry right now..." I mumbled, before my tummy grumbled. "Seems someone else is saying different," Louis raised a brow at me nodding towards my tummy, I smiled a half smile and breathed out slowly, Harry shifted on his feet, discomfort clear on his face, "Guess you'll eat then," he turned his attention back to the scrambled eggs on the stove. Liam shook his head staring me dead in the eyes, making his way to the door, "I'm gonna go on a run." As soon as he was out of the door, my body had somehow calmed down. I sighed softly to myself taking a seat on the bar stool by the island, "Do you need help?" I questioned turning to face Harry who shook his head stirring the eggs, Harry very rarely made breakfast, or food in general. When he did I always felt obliged to ask if he needed help. "How are you...uhm, feeling?" He asked quietly, almost embarrassed, as he continued to stare at the pan in front of him as if talking to the eggs, "I, I uh, I'm fine." I smiled slightly, "Good...good."

The kitchen was quiet, Louis observed us as if we were specimens in his new discovery, while he sipped on a glass of water. "And, how's...how's it?" he suddenly spoke, I furrowed my eyebrows, "It?"
"Mhm..." he had finally turned his head to look at me, darting his eyes down to my stomach. I clenched my jaw swallowing whatever spit had gathered in my mouth trying to stop me from speaking. "Oh, oh...its y'know, it's early nothing is really happening. It's good." I forced a smile, I hated lying, I couldn't do it, but I had to for now.
