The car stopped suddenly, my eyes shot open as I jerked forward, a headache clear on the approach. "What the hell, thought you were better at driving by now Lia- oh no wonder. Makes much more sense now." Abigail groaned as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, while Harry got out of the driver's seat. "Everyone up, we're here." Harry spoke while knocking his knuckle on the back windows. I stepped out of the car and stretched my legs taking a glance around. "Where exactly is 'here'?" I questioned as I caught sight of the many hills and the scent of fresh sea water. "Our home for the next few months. We needed a place out of the city, away from everything. Also, we needed a break. So, welcome home." Liam clarified cracking his knuckles and neck, taking a few bags as he walked up the hill, "Well, you coming?" he asked turning back to me as I turned around watching Niall and Harry talking, while Louis and Abigail got some things out of the car and Zayn spoke on the phone. "Guess so." I mumbled following Liam up the hill. The slight breeze felt wonderful, my eyes nearly popped out of my head once I saw the house. It was completely different to what I could have ever envisioned.

A pretty big beach house on a hill, picket fence and all. Overlooking the roaring waves. "Surprised?" Liam asked as soon as he had realised I had stopped walking. "Yeah...How on earth?" I shook my head in disbelief. "It's not a million-dollar house complete with a gold shower, calm down. Just trust in your husband." He gave off a slight chuckle, turning back to the house and heading inside. "Did you really just laugh for the first time and that was the joke?" I rolled my eyes following him. "Why is the car parked so far away?" I frowned slightly out of breath from the mini hike I had to endure, "Why are you so unfit seems the better question. Take these bags up to the room, the one with the open door." I took hold of the somewhat heavy bags and walked up the stairs. Looking down onto the living room and across the hall to all the rooms, I was astonished and confused. How had they always managed to do things like this? Maybe I really didn't know as much as I thought I did. Everything had happened so suddenly, the thought of having a break was mind boggling. As the sun made its way down the horizon and the day became that much older I couldn't help, but feel the weight on my shoulders become unbearable, as the sleep settled in.

I put the bags down on the crisp, clean floors of the room. It was quite big, complete with an en-suite bathroom. The view from the room was breath-taking, I couldn't remember the last time I was able to see things like this. Reminded me of my old family trips I used to have as a child, the beautiful countryside, the beaches, the birds, the smell and sounds of the beach. It was calming. But of course, I knew that wouldn't last very long. "You like it?" I jolted slightly, turning my attention from the view outside, to where Harry was stood, arms crossed behind me. "Oh, yeah. It's really beautiful. Sorry, I'll be out now, I was just bringing these bags up, Liam asked me to." I couldn't seem to find my words as they hitched in my throat, why was I so nervous? Had things really changed that much, if at all? I made my way past Harry carefully, before he tugged me back by my arm. "You don't have to leave. This is our room." He spoke in a monotoned voice. I turned around and took my arm from him slowly, nodding. "O-Okay, yeah. Thanks. Do you need help with anything, or...am I in your way?"

"Calm down, what's with your stuttering today?" His eyebrow raised, blinking at me sceptically.

"I, I ju-"

"Stop! Stop stuttering." He scolded, nodding at me to continue. I frowned taking a deep breath. "I don't know where we stand. With everything." I admitted rubbing my arm looking into his now darkened eyes. "Nothing has changed. Don't get it twisted, you're exactly the same person you've always been."

"So what happened back in-"

"Nothing happened. Nothing. You got that? Don't give me that wishy washy shit. That...back there it was a moment of weakness. A moment you'll never find me in again." He snapped inching closer towards me, I stepped back. I frowned biting the inside of my lip, closing my eyes tightly as I nodded. "Good."

"You can unpack this bag and put the bedding on the bed." He muttered, picking up the bag shoving it against my chest as I took it, trying my best not to look at him. "You'd better not cry, don't be a baby about this." He shook his head walking out of the room, shutting the door loudly. My heart stopped for a split second, but it felt like a lifetime. I could feel the walls caving in on my throat trying to withhold the emotion built up in me. I breathed in shakily, blinking away the tears, quickly wiping my cheeks taking the bed linens out of the bag when the door opened. "You're not actually crying, are you? Fucks sakes woman." He sighed walking up to me, I winced as he put his hand on my face. I drew back slightly but opened my eyes when I felt a tissue on my cheek. I was face-to-face with him, while he knelt down wiping my face dry, bed linen still firmly in my hand as he did so. My eyebrows furrowed in curiosity and confusion. He cleared his throat awkwardly, staring straight at me. "Stop crying. Yeah?" he asked nodding his head at me, I returned the nod wiping what was left of the wetness on my face. "Better. It's the first day here. I'd like to enjoy it. When you're done, you can come down, we're gonna have a bonfire."

"Okay." I sighed standing up, fixing up the bed.
