< end of the day- One Direction >
I told her that I loved her, just not sure if she heard
The roof was pretty windy and she didn't say a word
Party died downstairs, had nothing left to do
Just me, her and the moon

AFTER WE FINISHED OUR FOOD, everyone still sat at the table, except for Grayson who still hadn't been seen since we surprised his mother.
Lisa started opening the presents, her eyes vibrant with happiness. I always wondered what it would be like to always be that happy- or at least happy.
I'm not...depressed, but I don't feel happy ether. I feel empty, like I'm a walking void of the spark everyone else seems to have.
Lisa finally got to my mom's gift, the small shoebox-sized gift wrapped in purple and blue hue colors. The woman pulled off the wrapping paper, her eyes wider as she scanned whatever was inside it.
To be honest, I didn't know what my mom had gotten them ether.
"You didn't!" Lisa said in disbelief, her jaw hanging wide. She dropped the present to the table, allowing me to glance at pieces of white paper.
"I did!" My mom said in a cheery way, almost making me want to throw up.
Lisa walked over to my mom and hugged her tightly like her life depended on it. "What is it?" Sean asked, raising an eyebrow with a wide smile.
"It's tickets to a hockey game at the Badens stadium." Lisa replied, pulling from the hug to grab onto the tickets in the box. Sean's jaw practically fell to the floor, his hazel eyes wider.
My mom got them passes to the stadium?
The Badens stadium is our minor league hockey Team for our town. The Badens Hockey team is very huge to us. We have so much pride because of them, they win like every game.
My dad is best friends with the owner of the stadium, so, we gets free passes to go whenever we feel like it.
And i'm guessing my mom got the Dolans tickets to the stadium because of my dad.
I used to go all the time to the stadium, but I stopped going recently because of somebody, but that's not the point.
My eyes made their way to Ethan who glanced up from his phone to his mother, then immediately back down to his screen. What's so important on his phone?
My thoughts were cut off as Grayson walked down the stairs, striding towards everyone who sat around the table.
The rest of the guest had already left, it was just my mom and I, a couple, and the Dolans.
"Guess what," Sean beamed to Grayson, catching his son off guard. Grayson scanned the room til his eyes met mine, the sides of his mouth turning upwards. "we got passes to go to the Badens Hockey team" He Informed his son.
"for when?" Grayson's eyes never left mine, burning holes in my skull. I looked away, nervously twisting my fingers in my palms.
They continued talking, but I drowned it out with thoughts of why I never go back to the stadium. The person's hand swirled in my thoughts, their eyes, their smell.
"Thank you for everything" Lisa said to my mom as we stepped out of the door. I nodded, watching the wrinkles on the side of her eyes crease more when she grinned.
"Anytime" my mom replied, then the door shut and we walked to our car parked on the side of the street.
After we settled in the small vehicle, I placed my hands underneath my thighs, warming up my freezing finger tips. My mom turned on the heater, allowing warm air to hug my cold skin.
