Against the Universe:

"Wha-" before the woman could question, Lexie grabbed a handful of her hair, slamming the red head into the window of her car. Blood spewed and shrieks ensued, only pushing Lexie to keep bashing the bitch's head in more.

"I think we're done here, don't you think?" Lexie pulled the girl away from her car, pushing her to the cement. "Ah, look what's you've done. Now the car is bloody, damnit." Lexie rolled her eyes, getting into the car and driving away.

—now—

"Soulmates are made from us, legals. The universe makes sure it's good and the fates makes sure it happens correctly. So, I was watching your timeline, making sure everything was okay and finding a soulmate for you. But then, somehow I got stuck. I don't know how I did it, but I traveled back in time and created another one of myself." Lexie noticed his shaking hands, her eyes narrowed on his face.

Breakup <3 :

"Chill, I just need to relax. The party is too much for tonight. It's even worse that Ellie showed." His voice trailed off once he mentioned his ex's name. I stiffened at the thought he still had feelings, but pushed back the raging jealous thoughts.

"Fine, I'll go back inside then." I turned on my heel towards the door, already knowing what's to come.

"Don't." I smiled faintly to myself, my back facing him. "Not with the people in there. It's not safe." I could hear shuffling, then a flicking sound. I turned around to see a lighter in his palm, a cigarette between his fingers.

"What are you doing?" I furrowed my brows, taking in the sight. I was appalled, hating he was wasting his lungs for something so stupid. Before I could get another word in to protest, a puff of smoke left his mouth.

Stuffing the lighter into his back pocket, he ran his hands through his hair with the hand not holding the stick.

I watched the end of the cigarette burn a crimson red, probably the color of the tip of my nose right now.

The hairs on my skin stood tall, shivers running through my body from the icy cold surrounding us. I rubbed my hands together, huffing warm air between my palms.

Although I liked the smell of smoke, I hated why I smelled it. "I'm smoking, love. What does it look like I'm doing?" He rolled his eyes, leaning against the railing of the deck, looking up to the bright full moon in the pitch black sky.

"It looks like you're killing your lungs." I snipped, striding towards the stick and pulling it from his lips. He watched me with a dropped jaw, seeing me drop the stick to the porch and stomp on it repeatedly.

"What the fuck?" He said breathlessly. I smirked, watching his loopy expression from earlier drop along with his mood. "I take you to this party-"

"-A place I didn't even want to go to, first of all. Which we're not even in, we're out here acting like burn outs. Sorry, you. You're acting like a burn out, now let's go inside before I leave your ass out here." I held empty on my threats. I would never leave him out here by himself, also considering I know no one inside.

"Fine, go inside. I don't give a fuck." He hissed, my eyes slightly widened being caught off guard.

"Fine, I'll go inside. I'll also make sure to dance up on Julian whilst I'm at it too, huh." I didn't bother to think what I was saying, I just wanted him to hurt.

That's the thing. When we're mad, all we do is stride to hurt each other. It's toxic, I know. I'm a dumb fuck, but so is he. He's smoking and getting pissed at me for caring for his well being.

Maybe I didn't approach it the correct way, but I don't care. I never care.

He stared at me for a moment, as if he was thinking of what to say next. Planning his attack carefully, "Okay, does it look like I care?" He shook his head to his own question. "Oh, maybe while you're there, let Ellie know I'm here too. I know she'll want to get fuc-" before he could finish, my hands were against his chest, pushing him even more against the railing.

He smirked, looking accomplished. His arms wrapped around my waist as I pushed him away, my anger fueling my childish behavior. I wriggled in his grasp, yelling "let me go!". He didn't though, his grip only became tighter.

My hands were still on his chest as I calmed down, my breathing the loudest thing in the night. The quiet sounds of crickets and the distant rustling of trees were faded away by my bursting heart beat in my chest.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, his eyes burning holes into mine with intensity. I pursed my lips, struggling not to look up at his. I gazed away, down at the wood beneath my feet.

"Hey, look at me, princess." He said just as softly, pulling my chin between his fingers, forcing me to look up to meet his cloudy grey eyes.

Consequences of jealousy: Ethan Dolan book.

So...did he fuck her?" The girl with dirty blonde hair asked her friend sitting besides her as they packed up their things. I glanced in their direction, noticing one of them had a bull nose ring. It glistened in the artificial light, letting everyone know she's going through her edgy angst teen phase.

"Well he's Ethan, what do you think." the girl with flaming red hair and terribly applied eyeliner, spat. She rolled her eyes as if she had been insulted directly. With a huff, she zipped up her converse blue backpack.

She's only mad because Ethan already fucked her, I snickered in my head.

"Then he left her?" the blonde one scoffed, running her hands through out her hair, making it worse than before. "I don't understand why so many people fuck with him." Her small fingers fumbled with the zipper on her orange purse, stuffing her pen in it. "I can taste the STDs radiating off of him." She mumbled, half her focus on conversation, the other was busy with deciding if she should throw her purse out the window, by the looks of it. "Nina, I still can't believe you even spared a second of your time to him, let alone, let him get in your panties. Ever find me even glancing in Ethan's direction, please kill me effectively."

Nina nodded with a weak smile, seeming ashamed of her last Saturday spent with the devil himself. "Got it," she nodded, they continued their conversation but it faded from my ears as they stepped out the classroom.

I stifled a wicked smile, trying to leash my sarcastic comments to myself. It was easily since I don't converse much with others, but it was harder since the topic was so easy to shit talk about. Ethan.

It's only interesting to talk about because it's so hilarious! I mean, people praise him like he's famous around here, like he's some sort of sex god that came to this school as a gift from the heavens.

But why do they think that? Because of his good looks? They look past the fact he's a douche on the loose. I can only say that because I've seen it first hand, the girls crying in the hallways after they find out Ethan had moved on to the next female of the night. Or the furious girls gossiping about him after he fucked them and left without a second glance.

But really, I know this, everyone knows this. Apparently no one wants to accept the fact that: Ethan fucks girls then leaves them. Simple as that.

It's a cliche.
