After 2 min I left him, said good night and went to my room. He still stood there not understanding what happened? And left from there smilingly. After he left I went inside my room and woke up Navya... "I love him Navya... I love Manik..." Navya looked at me sleepily and said "this you could have said tomorrow.. why did u wake me up ?" And she slept off.. but I couldn't sleep. I was thinking only about Manik. Next day we all went to college and after Manik gave us treat. I was time to time looking at Manik, whenever I look at him he used to ask me what ? I said nothing.

Once we were in our room Navya asked me "So you were telling me that you love Manik?" I nodded my head happily. "Then whats the plan ?" She asked. "What plan ?" She said "are you not going to tell him about your feelings? I guess Manik also have feelings for you"

I smiled and said "I will tell but not now.. I know he also likes me.. currently I am liking this phase and will enjoy this.. Once I tell my feelings to him our relation will change for forever and I will miss this friendship phase, first I want to be his best friend I want to know everything about him then I will tell him about my feelings in final year"

Navya: If he propose to you ?

Nandini: He wont Navya...

Navya: why are you so sure?

Nandini: First thing is he is scared and secondly he can never say his feelings in words. He will only show in his actions but not with words.

Navya was looking at me smilingly and said: You love him so much na ?

Nandini: More than my life

Navya hugged me and said: I am very happy for you.

Its been 2 months since I met Manik and we both became very close. Daily I used to meet Manik in backyard after college and I used to tell him whatever happened in that day. We used to fight, tease each other, make fun of our professors, friends. My mind always used to revolve around him. I used to do whatever he say and once the days passed we became more closer and daily we chat till late night or sometime entire nights and used to sleep in college. Mostly I used to talk he listens whatever I say, I shared all my memories of family, my school friends, our pranks in hostel and the days I used to feel lonely. When I asked him "you will never leave me na?" He kissed my forehead and promised me "I am there for you always, I will never let you feel lonely again". i was very happy in my small world.

One day me and Manik were having lunch when I said "Manik, I want to tell you one thing"

Manik: Ha say na why are you asking permission

Nandini: You know Aryaman from our class

Manik: Yeah I know he is basketball player right.. what happened?

I closed my eyes tightly and said: He proposed me..

Manik: When?

Nandini: Yesterday before leaving college

Manik controlling his anger asked: Then why you didn't tell me yesterday.. we were talking till 2 right..

Nandini: I wanted to tell you in person.

Manik: what you said?

Nandini: I did not tell anything.. you tell what I should say ?

Manik: Why are you asking me ? You only reply him whatever you feel...

Nandini: Manik.. tell na...

Manik looked at me seriously and said: Say you are not interested... even if you like him say you are not interested and never talk to him again.. okay...
