Part 30

Next morning i felt fresh as i slept peacefully after so many years.. when i tried to get up i felt something holding me.. when i look at my right side there Manik is sleeping keeping his fingers entwined with mine and he hide his head in my hairs.. This brought butterflies 🦋 in my stomach like how i used to feel in college days and this is the first time he is sleeping so close to me.. Then i am drawn to reality and woke up with jerk.. due to sudden movement i felt pain in my neck "ouchh" slowly I pulled back my hand and today my ankle pain is also reduced. So i tried walking with that leg and it's better atleast i am able to keep my leg down..

I got freshened up and went to kitchen.. Ma was already there, i wished her good morning to which she asked "good morning Nandu.. how are you feeling?"
"Better.. atleast i can take few steps"
"Good.. now sit and take rest for sometime.. i will make coffee.."
"It's okay ma.. i can prepare"
To which she just glared at me and showed me chair to sit.. i made sad pout and sat...
"Though i am happy that you are not feeling pain now i am thinking you should have enjoyed the pampering that you are receiving from Manik.. he is always carrying you 😉"
"Maa.. not you too.. ☺️.."

We are talking on random things when Manik came to kitchen with his sleepy eyes...
Ma: ohh good morning Manik..
Manik hugged his mom and said good morning ma.. he went and sat next to Nandini...
Manik: please make coffee to me also.. he looked at me and asked "how did you come here? your leg pain reduced?"
I nodded while sipping coffee he said "ohhh 😔"
He kept his head on table when ma asked "feeling sleepy?"
He hummed and Ma "didn't sleep well last night?"
Manik was looking at me and smirked and said "your daughter in law was not feeling sleepy so she woke me up to tell story to her 😎" and winked at me 😉
Cabir and Mukti who were entering kitchen listened to it and Cabir said "whattttt? The great Manik malhotra said bedtime story 😱"
Manik ignored him and again lied down on table..
Mukti asked me "by the way what story did he say ?"
"That's one of pathetic story ever i heard in my life.. even in story he is telling about videogames 🤦🏻‍♀️" i said and highfived with Mukti laughing at Manik and i said "i am never going to allow him to say any stories to our kids 😝" once I realised what i said i closed my mouth with palm cursing myself... these words came out from my mouth involuntarily may be deep down in my heart i want that to happen thats why these words came out and now i made my self embarrassed..

When i looked at Manik he is looking bit shocked and surprised 😯 which later turned into smirk..
"Nandu be ready for teasing now" I thought

Manik: how can you manage four KIDS alone Nandu to make them sleep..

he said so innocently i want to kick him on his handsome face.. what handsome .. even in angry also you all remember is his handsome face 🙄 Nandu get a grip he is teasing you..

Mukti: what four kids 😳???

Manik: haa.. you know Nandini want four kids.. 😉

I glared at him but he winked at me blowed teasing kiss...

I skipped my heartbeat 💗 by seeing this and i started to blush.. God this can't be more embarrassing... he is smirking at me when ma came to him and held his ear "why are you teasing her? "
I thanked her inwardly but Manik said "what you don't want grand children?"
Ma: don't tease her.. i know whose plan to have many kids ..

God I can't take this anymore.. I stood up and said i need to use washroom and went to my room sorry his room 🤦🏻‍♀️

Rest of the day went in swift with lot of laughter.. As next day morning everyone are leaving we have spent most of time together... Manik was continuously teasing me entire day..
To avoid his teasing i slept early..
