Fated Relationship

Part 16

Later it was exam's time and we started with our preparation and gave our best in exams. When results were our Manik topped his branch nor only his branch but also entire campus. The mini project that Manik and Cabir submitted got the best project award. Soon it was time for our holidays. Day before we leave I met Manik in backyard and we talked till early morning not wanting leave each other.

Next day I packed my bag, me, Manik and Cabir had flights at same time. So we all started together, during entire journey Cabir was only talking we both sat in silence. We completed all boarding formalities and were waiting for announcement. When they announced about my flight I stood up to leave and bid bye to Cabir to which he side hugged me and said "take care"

I looked at Manik and just nodded my head unable to say bye to him even he also nodded and kissed on my forehead. His lips stayed there longer than usual, tears brimming in my eyes which he shoved off nodding his head as no. I hugged him tightly and left from there without turning back. 

When I was in my home he used to call me daily 2-3 times, my days used to start and ends with his calls. I met few childhood friends there and I used to inform him everything and even if I was going out to hangout with my friends. He used to scold me if I stay till late night outside and if I send any pics with my school friends of boys he used to get angry, which I like so I teased him a lot for being possessive. Those 15 days were difficult days in my life though we talk daily on phone and also Skype calls sometimes I missed him so much, I was eagerly waiting to go back to college.

I was very excited in return journey to college. I landed in Chennai only to find Manik waiting for me in exit area. I ran to him and stopped in front of him with big smile on my face. Manik smirked and said "looks like you missed me so much frienddddd..." and winked. I thought he would ask me how are you ? How was your journey but here he started teasing me. I did not reply to him and stood there making angry pout. He moved his face closer to me and said "i know how to melt your anger do you want me do that or you will talk to me? " I gave him whatever look but did not reply to him he said "okay then" and kissed on my cheek. To which I widened my eyes in shock and he chuckled looking at my expression and started to leave taking my luggage also. I thought "stupid he is, I knew he also missed me so much still he wont tell it directly" and I started walking fast following him. We booked cab from airport and once we were in cab I asked Manik about Cabir.. he said he will come next day as he had some work.

I asked "okay.. you came today for me right..?"

He was bit taken aback but said "no.. I didn't want to miss my first day classes.. so I came today"

I chuckled at his answer and thought "he and his ego..." when I saw him he closed his eyes.

I asked him cutely with my dancing eyebrows "Manik you missed me so much na thats why you kissed me right..?"

Manik looked at me for few second and said "I am feeling very sleepy couldn't sleep properly in holidays, if you disturb me again with your stupid questions then I know how to shut your mouth.. do you want me to do that ?"

To which I widened my eyes thinking what he meant by that once I realised what he meant small gasp escaped from my mouth and his lips turned upwards

I said "Monster"

Manik: I heard it

"good for you.." I said and turned to other side but after sometime in his sleep he kept his head on my shoulder so I turned to his side admiring his face as I missed it in last 15 days. When I was admiring he suddenly said "I know I look handsome but looking at someone who is sleeping is creepy" I got embarrassed and turned to other side.

Once we reached college I woke him up and he paid for taxi. He said "i am going to sleep wake me up at 6 PM.. okay?" I said "you keep alarm why should I wake you up..?" He said "okay don't wake me up then I will not get up and wont eat anything" hhhmm.. he is blackmailing me again.. he knows I care for him and I had to agree. I said okay to which he gave me flying kiss and left from there. Haaaaaa this monster he knows only to blackmail.. cant he ask properly always he either order, if I don't follow he will blackmail.. With that I went to my room and started unpacking. After unpacking my luggage I was getting bored as Navya was not there and she would be coming tomorrow. I got one idea to kill boredom and I started writing dairy especially my feelings for Manik and I can give this to him when I propose to him. I didn't know when it was evening and I called Manik to wake him up. After calling for three times he answered call and said "Hello" in his sleepy husky voice which I found very sexy.. "Manu get up, have something and sleep again" he said "i don't want to eat anything" I got angry and said "you will get up or not now..?" He said "arey nandu, let me sleep yaar" I said "if you don't get up now I will not talk to you for next one week" he got scared and got up and said "Devil".. I said "I know that I am devil. So now you better get up and freshen up and come to back yard I will order pizza.." He said okay and disconnected the call.

After sometime he came to backyard and he snatched pizza box from me and started eating. I chuckled at his action and didn't say anything. I asked him "why you didn't sleep well in holidays Manu?" He said "I told you na that I was going to dad's company in holidays to learn from industry.." I said "but you were calling me and talking with me late night" he said "haan.. I used to talk with you till 3 - 4 sometime entire night and I had to get up at 7AM again to go to office" I felt guilty and said Sorry...

Manik: Why are you telling me sorry

I said looking down: Because of me you didn't sleep well and I am feeling guilty.

Manik: He held my chin lifted my head and said "I like to talk with you and spend time with you.. I had not done that because you wanted to talk it was my decision. So don't feel guilty about it"

I said: Still you could have told me but you never said that you had to get up early so I couldn't have talked you till late nights.

Manik: See this was the reason I didn't say.. Anyways now I am sleeping well so don't worry.

With that we started talking on random topics and went to our hostels waiting for next day as it will be first day as seniors.

Next day Navya came early in morning and we both got ready and went to canteen. When I was going there I saw Manik talking to some girl and smiling at her. I got jealous and went and sat in table. Looking at Manik and that girl Navya said "After project seminar and being handsome topper of Campus - Manik became quite famous especially in girls na, hope you will not get any competition". I glared at her when Manik came to us. He asked me "why your face is all red?" I ignored him and ordered my food then he asked Navya what happened to me to which she shrugged. After breakfast we bid bye to Manik and started going to our class.
