Part 3

Once they reached murthy house Nandini hugged her parents and both took blessings from them. Nandini helped her mom to prepare lunch. After lunch all were sitting in hall and discussing about random topics.
Manik: papa, there is some issue in Chennai branch so dad asked me to go there. So me and Nandini are going to chennai tomorrow.
Nandini dad/Alok murthy: oh is it.. for how many days you will stay in Chennai?
Manik: can't say that now papa. After going there only we can tell.
Alok: hmmm okay.. is it related to gaming sector?
Manik: no papa, its MM technology project. Though I don't handle technology unit of dads company as i am completely into game development, dad has given this project to me as it is related to artificial intelligence. It is very prestigious project for us and if it is successful so many poor people will get benefit.

Out of curiosity Alok asked: is it? What type of project this is?

Manik: we are developing an app which will be used by remote area people and without coming to hospital they can receive treatment.

Nandini mom/sulochana murthy: how? Without meeting doctor how can they receive treatment?

Nandini also got curious about the discussion and listening to them but acting as if she is not listening.

Manik: How to say ?.. hmm okay for example if we are not feeling well we will go to hospital and doctor will check and check our bp or if required they write lab tests or scans. Once we receive reports doctor will diagnise and give treatment ryt..

To which Sulochana nodded and said yes.

So in the app that we are developing we already give the knowledge about each and every disease to system and if anyone has problem they can enter in that and it will suggest what lab tests to be taken and once results updated in app they can send that to doctors. The doctors will check all the reports and write medicines to treat and food to take. If any surgery require then only patients has to go hospital.

Sulochana: Wow its very unimaginable... i wish you all the best Manik for the success of this project.

Alok: all the best Manik..

Manik: thanks amma papa..

Nandini is having proud smile on her face as she know he will succeed in this project.

Alok: but Manik why did you want to  create videogames ?

Manik: from childhood i like to play videogames alot. I had only dream that once i grow up I should make videogames which everyone should play and enjoy. With that only i took my subject as computer science and then did masters in same domain. When i am in college, me and Cabir started making small video games and once we are in London for masters we started making "shooter" game which became very successful.

Nandini is all time looking at his face adorning. The spark and shine in his eyes is same when he speaks about videogames that she saw 7 years ago. With that she went back to memory lane

Flashback—-
Nandini: Manik, why do you like videogames so much?
Manik: you know Nandini when i was small mom n dad used to be very busy as dad just started his company and mom always used help him. They didn't have any time to spent with me or play with me. I used to feel alone. On my 10 th birthday my dad gifted me ipad and thats when it all started. Whenever i feel lonely or i miss my parents i used to play games. First it was just to kill loneliness I used to play but when I grew up i got obsessed with it and the only thought i used to have is to develop my own video games. Gaming is something which I cannot leave in my life and one day i will make my own video games and will rock the gaming world.

Nandini: yes Manik , one day you will become the star of gaming world.

Present—-

Without realising Nandini said: i know you will become superstar in gaming industry.

All three of them looked towards her and Manik was shocked to listen that from her but felt very happy and this brought smile on his face.

When Nandini realized what she said she became embarrassed and said "i am feeling tired, i will go and sleep" with that she ran to her room and started scolding herself " mAyappa what happened to me, why can't I control my mouth, whats the need to say those words. I dnt know what Manik is thinking. With that she thought i should be conscious when he is around and should avoid him and slept and soon sleep took over her due to tiredness.

After sometime Manik came to her room only to find her sleeping. Manik went and slept next to her, he slightly leaned on her kissed her forehead and looked at her face for sometime and slept off. They have spent that night there where Nandini ignored him completely and Manik also didn't make effort to talk to her.

Next day after breakfast they cane back to their house. Neyonika has already packed their luggage for their journey.

Let's see what chennai has instore for them..
