Chapter 49: Lust Walking with the Devil

So I wasn't too sure I could trust my new acquaintances, I mean the one who's escorting me just tried eating me. However the Hade's transformed back into their Original selves. How they usually look like without trying to seduce people. Jinx only looked like a thirteen year old girl, and she didn't wear lingerie, she was one of those people who would just wear a cosy jumper and jeans. She didn't seem lustrous anymore or a demon. She just looked like a young girl with an ill temper.

"What are you looking at?" Jinx shouted when her dirty blonde hair slightly got caught on fire, her eyes dulled out green.

"Just the torch..." I didn't finish my sentence as she quickly tried putting it out.

The look of the others was different, Paige even though sounded like a females name was actually a guy, who wore baggy jeans and a rundown t shirt. He however had black spiky hair. Nina once being Otaku's version of lust was a tall skinny woman seeming to be in her early twenty's. Although not dressing in lingerie she only wore a long jacket that covered her up to her knees. Her eyes were a dulled out blue and her hair a warm brown. Mia was the eldest she was obviously in her thirties, the sophisticated look she had was one of a mother. She wore a blouse, with a skirt, and her eyes of brown seemed to be as worn out as her hair.

"So why are you guys just letting me go?" I asked as I started to pat Jimmy as he walked comfortably through the long ruby hallway.

"Mia has a sense for people, she knows when to start and when to stop."

"Sorry," I apologised.

"For what?" Jinx asked not even stunned by my words.

"For killing Sasha."

"Oh that's fine, she was the only whom was born by Lust so we didn't really know her." Jinx didn't seem to be puzzled by death.

"What do you mean born by lust?" I asked curiously as we made it to the end of the hallway.

"Help me with the door." Jinx asked as we began pushing against this huge wooden door. "Well usually Hade's are born from the Sector of Lust, and they just come here, to cause havoc. However we're different we were infected like a protector does with a host."

"So you're all human?"

"Not exactly." She stuttered out as the door moved open, "We were human until we found the sectors essence in the middle of our Apartment complex a few years back."

"So you were made into a demon."

"I would do anything to get rid of this constant Lust for people, and the constant hunger which comes with it. I can't even think straight."

The other side of the door led to the outside of the Kingdom, there wasn't a person on sight.

"Wait where is everyone this is a kingdom isn't it?" I asked. "I only saw the sentries at the front and you guys."

"Well yeah we're the only ones left in here, the rest were killed or sent off to war somewhere on earth."

"Wait what?" I asked, still confused.

"Okay see those sentries that's Max and Hayden, they're others who've been suspected to lust although, none of us were detected by the Hade's who broke into the Kingdom to create an onslaught of all of us. The only ones to survive were ones agreeing on war, which was about sixty percent of them."

"Was this Hade's... called Lucy?" I asked... I mean seriously it seems to be the case, she was the one to pretend to be a Hade's from the start.

"Yes, but she called herself Lucifer or even Anna."

"Wait how did Sasha not get detected?"

"That one is simple, she just wasn't here at the time. Excuse me for one second." I watched as Jinx turned around and picked something off the ground, which seemed like a dead rabbit, although this rabbit seemed demented. She shoved it in her mouth and started crying.

"As I said I would do anything to get rid of this curse." She whispered.

"I know, if I could do something I would help, but I'm new to this place."

"I don't expect anything from you." There was a pause, "Now mister newbie where would you like to go?"

"Where can I find Death?" I asked, because Jimmy seemed to be taking a nap.

"Death," Jinx laughed, "Haven't seen that place since I got here, it should be in that direction." Jinx pointed towards her front, at this rate angles and directions on a campus mean nothing.

"Yeah cool thanks," I said as I started to run, in direction, but suddenly I felt bad, and realised something I could do later to help Jinx and the others. I ran back to Jinx before she got back into the building.

"Hey Jinx." I panted out.

"What is it?" she seemed to be as confused as ever.

"I promise when I get to the Kingdom of Knowledge and Fairy Tale to ask Fable if it's possible to get rid of your curse." I said to her, I had a gut feeling that he knows and I couldn't let that feeling go to waste.

Jinx broke down into tears and as I walked into the darkness of the Underworld, all I heard was.

"Thank you Jamie Dale."
